FanDuel Football Picks Week 16

Slide 1 of 4 FanDuel Football Picks Week 16 | Slide - 1

Andy Dalton $8,400 vs. Minnesota - Dalton has been a much better QB at home and gets the joy of going against one of the worst defenses in the league.  The Vikings have no one who can cover A.J. Green.

Jay Cutler $8,000 vs. Philadelphia - Cutler had a rough start to the game last week but showed why he is the right QB for Chicago.  This game should see a ton of points and the Eagles have no one who can cover Marshall and Jeffrey.

Colin Kaepernick $7,900 vs. Atlanta - Kapernick is a sneaky play this week who does come with some risk.  The 49ers need to get Kaepernick going again before the playoffs and facing the Atlanta Falcons defense is the perfect chance.

Matt Schaub $6,500 vs. Denver - Schaub could use a few good games the rest of the season to help his future free agent value for next year.  The Broncos will score points this week so expect Schaub to have the best return of the cheaper QB's this week.

Running Backs

LeSean McCoy $9,700 vs. Chicago - McCoy gets a dream match-up vs. Chicago.  He should go over 150+ total yards and will be heavily involved after only 8 carries last week. I would be surprised if he was not the #1 scoring RB this week.

Rashad Jennings $7,500 vs. San Diego - Jennings has quietly been highly productive in every start since taking over for McFadden.  San Diego has plenty of issues on defense so he should be successful this week as well.

Zac Stacy $7,400 vs. Tampa Bay -  Stacy is heavily relied on as no one wants to see Kellen Clemens chucking the ball all over the field unless they are desperate.  Tampa Bay also has some issues defending the run which makes things even better in this match-up.

Alfred Morris $6,000 vs. Dallas - Morris a boom or bust pick this week with the issues the Redskins have on defense.  If Washington can hang close throughout the game, Morris will get 20+ carries and go well over 100+ yards.  Dallas has serious issues with their defense which will create big holes for Morris.

C.J. Spiller $5,600 vs. Miami - Spiller has the timeshare issue right now but his price is very cheap.  He is capable of busting multiple long plays which can make for some huge numbers.  It just feels like he is due.

Wide Receivers

Calvin Johnson $9,900 vs. New York Giants - Johnson is the most expensive receiver out there and can be tough to fit into your line-ups but he is due for a big game.  He has a good chance of returning a monster performance.

A.J. Green $8,600 vs. Minnesota - Green should light up the disaster of a secondary that is the Vikings.  I expect him to be the number #1 overall scoring WR this week.

Brandon Marshall $8,500 vs. Chicago - Marshall is Cutler's favorite target even with the emergence of Jeffrey.  The Eagles have no one who can shut down this monster duo but would rather pay a litte extra for Marshall since he sees more targets.

Antonio Brown $8,000 vs. Green Bay - Brown has caught at least 5 passes in every game this season as the Steelers make it a point to get him the ball in whatever way they can.  Actually preferred Brown more if Rodgers would have returned as the Packers could get blown out early which could limit his production a bit.

Andre Johnson $7,800 vs. Denver - Johnson could be a nice play against the grain as he was lightly played last week and was disapointing.  A lot of people tend to avoid the guys who disappointed last week so a monster game from him could separate you from the pack.

Riley Cooper $5,500 vs. Chicago - Cooper has been very quiet the last 4 weeks but in a expected shootout he is worth a look.  A multiple TD game his definitely a possibility at a great price.

Da'Rick Rodgers $5,200 vs. Kansas City - Rodgers was very quiet last week after his break out performance.  I think the big lead by Indy last week played a bunch into limiting his chances.  Kansas City offense has turned it up a notch but their defense is having a ton of problems.  The Colts will be forced to throw the ball a bunch this week and T.Y. Hilton is banged up which should get Rodgers more involved.

Tight Ends

Julius Thomas $6,500 vs. Houston - Thomas has been a big redzone target for the Broncos this year despite the catch numbers dwindling a bit.  Welker is out again and no way that Caldwell catches 2 TD's again.

Vernon Davis $6,400 vs. Falcons - Davis has caught a TD in 5 straight games and I expect him to make it 6 this week.  As I mentioned with trying to Kaepernick going in my quarterbacks recommendations, the 49ers should open up the passing game this week.

Joseph Fauria $4,500 vs. New York Giants - Fauria should hopefully more involved outside of the redzone this week with Pettigrew OUT this week.  Fauria has always been a redzone option for Stafford but his value is far greater if he can get 4 to 5 catches along with a TD.
