We are on to Week 4 so it is time to take a look ahead at the different price points on both Draftkings and Fanduel this weekend. It is important to find the most productive players every week but you also can't afford to overpay for the production that you will receive.  It is early in the season so big performances from the previous weeks will really cause a players price to jump.  We saw this two weeks ago with a guy like Antonio Gates who was near minimum price two weeks ago but after having a 3 TD game in Week 2 his price almost doubled on Draftkings.  You won't see quite the price fluxuations as we get deeper into the season but something to be aware of week to week is who you can find value on.  It is important to look for guys on the rebound from an off week as they can pay big dividends.

Below you will find a breakdown on a number of the quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers along with the tight ends on both Draftkings and FanDuel who overpriced and underpriced.

Quarterbacks

Andrew Luck leads the way for the overpriced quarterbacks this week.  Luck checks in at $9,300 on Draftkings and $9,800 on FanDuel.  He shredded the Jacksonville defense last week and has a decent match-up against Tennessee but I can't pay up for him this week with that price point.  Another QB that I painfully have to put on this list,  Cam Newton who is $7,100 on DK and $8,000 on FD. Newton is not the same player right now as he does not have the same mobility so the rushing yards are just not there.  His ability to run the ball is what makes him so special.  There are two other players in Tom Brady at $7,900 on FD and Drew Brees at $9,300 on DK.  Both of the guys could return value but they are priced a little too high for me right now based on expected production.

There are couple of new starters this week in the NFL who make for some nice values.  Both Blake Bortles who is $5,800 on DK & $6,500 on FD and Teddy Bridgewater who is $5,900 on DK & $5,700 on FD can bring back nice value. Bortles and Bridgewater should pick up some bonus rushing yards along with playing for teams that can struggle on defense that gives them more chances to throw the ball.  The rushing and game situations lead to nice fantasy points on the cheap.  Another new starter this week is Mike Glennon who takes over for Josh McCown in Tampa.  Glennon is just $5,500 on FD and has proved himself to be a decent NFL QB last season.  He should enough production to pay off his price tag.

Running Backs

The running back position shows some diversity between the sites.  Arian Foster leads the way on overpriced running backs. Foster is $7,500 on Draftkings and $8,400 on FanDuel.  He is questionable to play this week with a hamstring injury so he will be a very risky start if he does get on the field.  Reggie Bush checks at $6,100 on DK & $7,400 on FD against the tough Jets run defense.  Bush is an up and down player to begin with so he needs to be avoided. Darren Sproles is $6,000 on DK which is insane for a guy likely to get 10 touches max.  FanDuel lastly has C.J. Spiller at $7,800 as a part-time RB.  There is no way I am paying for a player who is not getting all the touches.

For the underpriced RB's on DK, you need to look for guys who have been disappointing so far this season.  Matt Forte at $7,800, LeSean McCoy at $7,000 and Eddie Lacy $5,600 should all be able to rebound this week after some bad outings in recent weeks.  It is a little more difficult on FD to find overpriced RB's.  Most of the quality options are off this week.  You will need to look at Khiry Robinson at $4,900 against the bad Dallas run defense,  Lamar Miller who seems to finally be getting the touches he deserves in Miami at $6,900 and Donald Brown at $6,300 as the last healthy back standing in San Diego.

Wide Receivers

Andre Johnson leads the way in overpriced wide receivers where he is $5,700 on Draftkings and $6,700 on FanDuel.  Johnson does not have any chemistry with Ryan Fitzpatrick right now while his teammate DeAndre Hopkins is very affordable on FD at $6,400.  Hopkins has become the go-to guy in Houston.  Terrence Williams has seen his stock fall in the Dallas offense and at just $4,800 on DK it seems reasonable but he is an after thought in Dallas with the team leaning on DeMarco Murray right now. Williams possesses very little upside.  Jordan Matthew checks in $5,500 on DK after a two touchdown game last week but I don't think the consistency will be there week to week right now to use him at that price tag.

Besides Hopkins,  there are other quality underpriced wide receivers including Jordy Nelson at $7,200, Kelvin Benjamin at $5,800 and Brandin Cooks at $5,300 on DK.  Nelson was quiet last week but should rebound while Benjamin and Cooks price tags have not reached their current production levels.  Mike Wallace is another possible gem on FanDuel who brings some big game potential and checks in at just $6,500   Wallace has been productive so far this season and that is without connecting on any real long TD passes that could be coming very soon.  The last of the wide receivers I will discuss is Allen Robinson who is just $5,100 on FD.  Robinson battled injuries in the pre-season but he was a Fantasy Alarm favorite from the start and should continue to get better with Bortles at QB.  Robinson has been a big part of the offense the last two weeks.

Tight Ends

The tight end position is a different animal than any other position in daily fantasy football.  With the monster production we get from Jimmy Graham, it really becomes a position where you pay up for Graham, find value with Rob Gronkowski who is $7,600 on FanDuel (overpriced) & only $5,700 on Drafkings (underpriced) or try to find near minimum options.  Delanie Walker is $4,900 on DK and Greg Olsen is $5,800 DK are just not priced in a good spot right now.  Solid early season production for likely inconsistent performance has led to higher prices.  On FanDuel, you find higher than you want price tags on Jason Witten at $5,900 and Zach Ertz at $5,600. Witten just has not been productive similiar to his teammate Terrance Williams with the changes in Dallas offensive philosophy. Ertz is still not on the field enough for me to pay up on him at this point.

A few other underpriced options are Garrett Graham at $4,900 on FD.  Graham is getting more involved after missing Week 1 due to injury and Travis Kelce is also a player who has also gotten more snaps week to week.  Kelce checks in at $3,700 on DK.  My lineups on DK will have Graham, Gronkowski or Kelce based on the current pricing structure.
