Tilson is still rehabbing his ankle injury, which is why he will not be playing in the Arizona Fall League this year, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
He suffered a stress fracture of the navicular bone in his right ankle back in June, and is not on track to be ready for game action this fall. The White Sox will send Tito Polo to the AFL in his stead. Tilson should be ready to compete for a spot in the outfield in spring training, but given that he has missed the entire 2017 season with foot and ankle injuries, he may be assigned to Triple-A at the outset of the 2018 season.
