Welcome to another edition of the walking wounded as we get ready for the remainder of games in Week 11.  The fantasy football playoffs are right around the corner so now is not the best time to see some of your better players on this list.  As I have been preaching to you all season, you need to be prepared for any and all circumstances so hopefully you have accumulated depth on your roster by aggressively managing the waiver wire for backup plans and handcuffs.

Marshawn Lynch (RB-SEA)

Marshawn Lynch missed a few days of practice earlier in the week with a calf injury and other assorted nagging maladies.  He must have been exhausted from running through the Giants last week.  But Lynch did return to practice on Friday and should be able to play on Sunday against the Chiefs despite being listed as questionable.  But make sure you keep checking for updates right up until kickoff on Sunday in the event the Seahawks decide to keep him sidelined.

Jamaal Charles (RB-KC)

Jamaal Charles is listed on the Chiefs’ injury report with both elbow and shoulder injuries, but he was able to practice all week.  He will play so have no fears about his status for Sunday.  That being said, he does have a very difficult matchup against Seattle’s defense so temper your expectations for his output this week.

Arian Foster (RB-HOU)

It is not looking good that Arian Foster will play this week against Cleveland as he is dealing with a groin injury.  He did return to practice in a very limited capacity on Friday but still did not do enough to instill any confidence in fantasy GM’s that he will be on the field.  Alfred Blue will start in his place if Foster cannot go.  It is being said Foster will be a game-time decision but you should expect the worst and have a backup plan ready to go.

Giovani Bernard (RB-CIN)

Giovani Bernard did not practice again on Friday and has been officially ruled out for this week’s game against the Saints.  We fully expected this all week so put rookie Jeremy Hill in your lineup as a RB2.  Bernard was projected to miss three weeks with his hip injury, so hopefully he is able to return in Week 12.

Brandon Marshall (WR-CHI)

Brandon Marshall has been dealing with an ankle injury for most of the season and missed practice earlier in the week.  However, he did return on Wednesday and is listed as probable for Sunday.  He will play and should be in your lineup.

Kyle Rudolph (TE-MIN)

Kyle Rudolph has missed the past two months with a groin injury but is expected to make his return this week against the Bears.  He was likely available on the waiver wire and is a good choice for an acquisition, especially this week against Chicago’s awful defense.

Jordan Cameron (TE-CLE)

Jordan Cameron has been dealing with a concussion for several weeks and is still symptomatic which puts his status for the remainder of the season in jeopardy.  He will not play this week but he has hardly been a viable fantasy option anyway.  Cameron has unquestionably been a fantasy bust this year and there is no reason to keep him on your roster.

Doug Martin (RB-TB)

Doug Martin has seen his career and fantasy value plummet at warp speed over the past two years.  He has been officially ruled out for Week 11 with an ankle injury, but this should come as no surprise at this point.  Bobby Rainey and Charles Sims will once again share the workload for Tampa Bay.  Martin’s status for the rest of the season is questionable because Tampa Bay has likely lost faith in him from a health and production standpoint.  He can be dropped from your roster with no regrets.
