The return of Ted Schuster to the DFS Playbook!! I know many of you thought that I was packed up in a suitcase and dropped into the bottom of the ocean (mostly because Jeff told you this) but what I was actually doing is cooling down the engines before gearing up for the final two months of the baseball season, start of the football season and before we win a million dollars at the DFBC next week in Las Vegas.
Adam Wainwright leads the way for my pitchers tonight and why not Jon Lester you ask? Everything says Lester is a solid play tonight but the Twins are a fiesty team who has some guys who can hit lefties well and with the $11K price tag on Draftkings I just can't put him as my first choice. He is more of an option on Fanduel with the same price tag as Wainwright and a great chance at a win. Roenis Elias has been decent this year and gets the White Sox who like to strike out so he is in great shape for a win tonight. C.J. Wilson is best cheap option of the night since the Dodgers have struggled against lefties at times. Wilson is not what he use to be but still capable of a solid night.
My top hitters of the night include Brandon Moss, Kyle Seager (always a Fantasy Alarm Favorite) and the red-hot Matt Kemp. A few teams and lineups to keep on eye on would be Arizonta lefty hitting outfielders (hard to figure who will be lineup so not included in playbook selections but viable plays) and Seattle Mariners left handed bats against the awful Scott Carroll.
If this DFS Playbook isn't enough daily information for you I strongly recommend you check out some of our other DFS Tools as well. We've got: Ray Flowers Daily Trends article, Daily Fantasy Projections & Salaries, Batter Vs. Pitcher data, Weather Report & our entire DFS repertoire. We always welcome suggestions to in order to help us develop the best DFS tools in the fantasy sports industry.
Here is the DFS Playbook for Thursday August 7th:
McHugh can be up and done so just dont trust him. Wilson has not been good but not many good options tonight. He is only a tourney play. Jones has destroyed lefties this year and has way more power than Melky
Jones over Melk Man? Melky's matchup is equally juicy and his fantasy points per game have been higher than Jones. Would you for sure go Jones over him tonight??? Most likely to HR tonight would be?
Wilson was absolute garbage last time out. How can you trust that guy right now? Just curious. ...
Thoughts on McHugh, PHI has been bashing a bit lately so obvious concern but the guy has done nothing but pitch absolute lights out... He has no games under 10pts (Draftkings) with almost all of them over 20 and is cheapish...
