Point Guards
RANK | NAME | Team | # Games | Analysis |
1 | Russell Westbrook | OKC | 4 | Match up proof in the finest form. He controls his own stat destiny each game and needs to keep his temper in check. |
2 | James Harden | HOU | 4 | The Rockets have other consistent scoring weapons, but Harden has been impersonating John Wall and driving non-stop to the rack. Other pieces are spot-up shooters. |
3 | Rajon Rondo | CHI | 5 | Five games on the slate this week which means he should be a top assist man and rebounder among guards this week. |
4 | John Wall | WSH | 3 | One thing is for certain about the Wizards offense; "Wall to the rack " is a play executed about 70% of the game. |
5 | Kyle Lowry | TOR | 3 | Even when Lowry does not score, he makes up for it in percentages in other categories. Still has take over ability at any given point. |
6 | Damian Lillard | POR | 3 | Lillard is fully healthy and is back to providing most of Portland's offensive production. Even with the team healthy, he still gets his each game. |
7 | Kyrie Irving | CLE | 3 | Kyrie is playing thos elbow spots nicely, whether its calling for the ball and then making a quick move, or finding the cutter on the the other side of the paint, he produces from there. |
8 | Mike Conley | MEM | 3 | Conley continues to attempt to quicken the pace of the Griz offense and will create for himself late in games. He has been able to carry the team on his back in crunch time. |
9 | Isaiah Thomas | BOS | 3 | Between organizing the spacing, and driving slow in the middle areas, it is hard to tell if Thomas will pass per possesion. He will shoot immediately following a screen on the perimeter. |
10 | Derrick Rose | NYK | 4 | With Carmelo Anthony ailing from a shoulder injury, Rose tear-drop play will absolutely be needed when he cuts to the basket. He could see a few more shots this week. |
11 | D'Angelo Russell | LAL | 4 | Russell is learning and growing slowly. He is not trying to force the drive into traffic as much. He is starting to fake the drive, and kick back out more to the open spot-up shooter. |
12 | Ricky Rubio | MIN | 4 | Rubio is absolutely reliable for assists and steals, but becomes a liability when he shoots. |
13 | George Hill | UT | 3 | Hill is back and will need to help out Gordon Hayward with the offensive production a bit more as Derrick Favors continues to recover. |
14 | Dennis Schroder | ATL | 3 | It's a coin-flip regarding which Schroder you will see per game, but with the departure of Kyle Korver, he will absolutely be taking more shots per game. |
15 | Jrue Holiday | NO | 3 | Holiday continues to be a solid No. 2 option for the Pelicans and takes over as point guard when needed, and has a good inside pass. Balances nicely between driving and shooting. |
16 | Chris Paul | LAC | 2 | Paul is one of the most dominant guards in the league and is full healthy and we can always expect full production. |
17 | Kemba Walker | CHA | 2 | Walker makes the list with the short slate because Nicolas Batum is hurt and the Hornets have no other consistent offensive weapons. |
18 | J.J. Barea | DAL | 3 | Barea seems to have shaken off injuries (for now) and will always get time because of his quickness and attacking ability. |
19 | Elfrid Payton | ORL | 3 | Payton has been attempting to become an offensive piece for the Magic and his shot selection is improving. He has speed and just needs to drive more and waive off potential cutters. |
20 | Deron Williams | DAL | 3 | Williams will absolutely have a chance to be the top producer per game as Dirk Nowitzki continues to recover for the next couple of week.s |

Shooting Guards
RANK | NAME | Team | # Games | Analysis |
1 | DeMar DeRozan | TOR | 3 | DeRozan is proving that he could very be a No. 1 fantasy and NBA option. He takes some of the hardest shots in the league with the worst angles and produces on both sides of the court. |
2 | Dwyane Wade | CHI | 5 | My senses tell me he will get a night off this week but even when Wade is not shooting well, he will still produce in other areas such as rebounding and assists to salvage his night. |
3 | Gordon Hayward | UT | 3 | Hayward will continue to be the No. 1 scoring option and will have more time with the ball as Derrick Favors continues to heal and will have ample kick out opportunitines. |
4 | C.J. McCollum | POR | 3 | McCollum gets a few of his shots taken away with Lillard at full strength, but still will get a ton of shots due to the lack of other offensive weapons on the team. |
5 | Zach LaVine | MIN | 4 | When putting Wade at the top, I wondered if Zach LaVine had a shot of outproducing him with less games? I gave it to Wade, but LaVine does a great job on the glass and takes a lot of shots. |
6 | Patrick Beverley | HOU | 4 | Pat-Bev has been playing like James Harden Jr. He drives first and kicks out and sets up for shots and is effective from long range. He can also handle the point well which gives him more time. |
7 | Eric Gordon | HOU | 4 | Gordon continues to be an excellent bailout option for Harden and is an excellent outside shooter who will also drive occasionally. He is good at finding himself open. |
8 | Victor Oladipo | OKC | 4 | Oladipo can be a No. 2 option, but Westbrook completely out-shines him from a production sand point and he does not really move when Westbrook has the ball at the key. |
9 | Reggie Jackson | DET | 4 | Jackson continues to move up the rankings as his scoring is improving and he can always be relied on for assists and steals and with a lot good wing options, he'll be dropping dimes! |
10 | Sean Kilpatrick | BKN | 4 | Jeremy Lin is still hurt and that will continue to translate to more time for Kilpatrick to create with the ball and he has been very productive offensively as their No. 2 weapon. |
11 | Avery Bradley | BOS | 3 | Bradley: Strained Achilles day to day: There is a chance he could be held out for a game this week, but is a multi-category consistent producer |
12 | Lou Williams | LAL | 4 | Williams will continue to get time with the ball because he is the most mature guard they have in being patient and he has been effective off the ball. |
13 | Bradley Beal | WSH | 3 | Beal will always get a good amount of open shots with the amount that Wall drives, but he needs to move more to get even more shots. |
14 | Kentavious Caldwell-Pope | DET | 4 | The Pistons can produce from the perimeter and elbow and that is where KCP hovers and gets a ton of openings each game. |
15 | Jordan Clarkson | LAL | 4 | Giving Clarkson a little more love as he has been controlling the offense a bit more and he can run the floor on transition with similar speed to Zach LaVine. |
16 | Wesley Matthews | DAL | 3 | Matthews will continue to get fed on the elbow because he often draws match ups he can take advantage of in the post. |
17 | Tim Frazier | NO | 3 | A rare flex move, but Frazier produces on both sides of the ball and will help out in almost all fantasy categories and gets a good amount of playing time. Still a Top 100 player. |
18 | Klay Thompson | GSW | 2 | With the SG position not as deep, Thompson will get a lot of chances to produce as the Warriors pure shooter. |
19 | Goran Dragic | MIA | 2 | Dragic is getting love with the short slate because he has taken on more of the offensive burden thus giving him a ton of time with the ball for the injured Heat. |
20 | Tony Allen | MEM | 3 | Rare appearance from "The Grindfather" himself and we have seen a bit more production offensively and it is his defense that keeps him on the floor. |

Small Forwards
RANK | NAME | Team | # Games | Analysis |
1 | Jimmy Butler | CHI | 5 | Jimmy Buckets has a strong 5-game slate this week and thinking Wade will need a rest game, the world is JB's oyster this week. |
2 | LeBron James | CLE | 3 | The King moves to the No. 2 spot for this week. Would he be No. 1 if he had one more game over Butler. |
3 | Giannis Antetokounmpo | MIL | 3 | The Greek Freak continues to produce all over the floor and has been a good spot-up shooter during the ball rotation on the perimeter. |
4 | Carmelo Anthony | NYK | 4 | It's not a "healthy" slate for Anthony as he continues to battle a shoulder injury, but should be active all week. |
5 | Kawhi Leonard | SAS | 3 | Leonard's drive can be halted, but the chase is what makes it hard for the opposition to stop Leonard from producing. |
6 | Trevor Ariza | HOU | 4 | Ariza will continue to play a ton because of his amazing perimeter defense and his spot-up three makes him yet another deadly weapon for the Rockets. |
7 | Andrew Wiggins | MIN | 4 | Wiggins shot selection is slowly starting to improve, but still does not jump and release consistently and you can tell because he hits the front of therim a lot. Always a scorer. |
8 | Tobias Harris | DET | 4 | Harris offensive game has come on strong recently and he can creat from the top of the paint with one hand and is not easy to stop. |
9 | Rudy Gay | SAC | 3 | Gay is at this point healthy and we can expect scoring, high-percentage shooting and consistent rebounding as the Kings second option. |
10 | Otto Porter | WSH | 3 | Porter has been a great long-range shooting option and gets a lot of open shots. He helps a ton on the defensive side and we can always expect rebounds and steals. |
11 | Nick Young | LAL | 4 | Terrible shot selection, but shoots a ton. That's all we can say. |
12 | Nikola Mirotic | CHI | 5 | Giving Mirotic love because of the slate and he knows that he needs to take high percentage shots, or else he will be out of the game. Needs to create more in the most and not hang at the key. |
13 | Harrison Barnes | DAL | 3 | Barnes will continue to get more time with the ball as Dirk Nowitzki continues to recover and can focus more on rebounding with healthy guards. |
14 | Kevin Durant | GSW | 2 | He's a top guy with a short slate who can absolutely some of these forwards with fewer games. |
15 | Jae Crowder | BOS | 3 | Crowder is all drive and is not afraid to take contact. The coaches love how much he hustles and he will not be in a fight for playing time. |
16 | Moe Harkless | POR | 3 | Harkless has proven he can be a consistent double-digit scorer, but he also shown signs of consistency in rebounding and the Blazers need help. |
17 | Robert Covington | PHI | 3 | Covington has had games in which he has been highly productive on both sides of the ball and has been looking to get the ball inside, rather than hoist up a terrible jumper. |
18 | Luol Deng | LAL | 4 | With a lot of short slates going on, Deng gets the boost with double-double ability. Don't forget about his three-point jumper. |
19 | Rodney Hood | UT | 3 | Hood will see less shots with Hill back in full force, but will be open a lot at the top of the key for spot-up jumpers. He will still produce. |
20 | Aaron Gordon | ORL | 3 | You never know with Gordon as the offense is not always there. When he is on, he can hit jumper after jumper and will even get more time with the ball. |

Power Forwrds
RANK | NAME | Team | # Games | Analysis |
1 | Anthony Davis | NO | 3 | The Brow continues to be dominant in all areas and the game-plan in New Orleans is quite simple; FEED THE BROW! |
2 | Kristaps Porzingis | NYK | 4 | Porzingis looks to be over his achilles injury as he has been hitting long-range jumpers without struggle and will be needed with Anthony hurting. |
3 | Kevin Love | CLE | 3 | Love continues to be dominant both inside and outside, and depending on what his defender is best at defensively, it will determine where on the court he will spend the majority of the game. |
4 | Taj Gibson | CHI | 5 | Gibson is getting a lot of love because he doesn't have too much competition at the position and is a volume producer. He grabs double-doubles with 20 minutes of playing time. |
5 | Paul Millsap | ATL | 3 | Millsap will get more chances to create with Korver gone, especially on the perimeter. Expect more plays to get him open from beyond the arc. |
6 | Jabari Parker | MIL | 3 | Parker has been not only an effective post player (which I rave about frequently), but his jumper has allowed The Greek Freak to get bailed out on the Perimeter. |
7 | LaMarcus Aldridge | SAS | 3 | Aldridge really does do a good job of organizing the Spurs inside spacing and he will call from the ball and create from the arc, elbow and low block. He often plays two positions at once. |
8 | Trevor Booker | BKN | 4 | Booker's toughness inside and the fact that he is the Nets most aggressive inside player, gets him a ton of street cred for the PF rankings. |
9 | Gorgui Dieng | MIN | 4 | Dieng will continue to show his new shooting range from right outside the paint, and teams will continue to double Towns and leave him wide open. |
10 | Ryan Anderson | HOU | 4 | Especially with Capela out, Anderson will need to be fed both in the post and outside. Anderson's drive will be needed a bit more with the smaller players guarded at the perimeter. |
11 | Serge Ibaka | ORL | 3 | Ibaka is always good for rebounding and blocks and it will always be hard to determine what to expect offensively. |
12 | Marcus Morris | DET | 4 | Morris will continue to cut and bust up the opposition at the elbow with a turn around jumper, or he will just draw contact. He has the ability to step out and be a long-range threat. |
13 | Zach Randolph | MEM | 3 | Randolph's offense will continue to be required while Chandler Parsons slowly recovers and we can always expect prestine defense inside. |
14 | Dirk Nowitzki | DAL | 3 | Nowitzki is starting to play games in the 30's again and he will be a No. 1 option again when he can consistently do it. |
15 | Jon Leuer | DET | 4 | Leuer has stood out and has been able to get long rebounds and put-backs and can even square up and hit shots from the elbow. |
16 | Derrick Favors | UT | 3 | Favors still looks slow and his stats show it, but he will come around and be a major part of the offense. At least he is on the court. |
17 | Draymond Green | GSW | 2 | 20-20? Probably not! Green will still dominate across the board in categories making him a constant top of the line forward. |
18 | JaMychal Green | MEM | 3 | Green's drive has been a lot more impressive and his confidence in the paint has grown throughout the season and he will continue to help out on the glass. |
19 | Markieff Morris | WSH | 3 | Morris baby jumper has made him a bit of a threat recently and Wall now has another kick out option. |
20 | Al-Farouq Aminu | POR | 3 | Aminu looks healthy and he will continue to get the ball and look to take contact and the Blazers need a ton of help inside. |

Centers
RANK | NAME | Team | # Games | Analysis |
1 | Karl-Anthony Towns | MIN | 4 | Never easy picking a top Center because of how top-heavy the position is, but this week belongs to Towns. |
2 | DeMarcus Cousins | SAC | 3 | Still love Cousins as the rumors begin of a $200 Million dollar contract in line if he stays in Sac-Town. All-around producer who drives from coast to coast. |
3 | Andre Drummond | DET | 4 | Drummond gets more love with the fourth game as owners continue to hold their breath when he is at the free-throw line. |
4 | Brook Lopez | BKN | 4 | The Nets want a few 1st rounders for Lopez and his offense is excellent. The defense and paint play? NAAAA BRAH! |
5 | Robin Lopez | CHI | 5 | Robin loves the paint so much that he doesn't leave it on defense or with the ball and with the five game slate and a few inside one-handed post moves, he can be a top producer this week. |
6 | Dwight Howard | ATL | 3 | I nearly put Howard over Lopez because of how dominant he is in scoring, rebounding and blocks and will benefit with Korver gone by getting more inside plays. |
7 | Marc Gasol | MEM | 3 | Gasol continues his 50/50 inside/outside split and has been playing in the post more showing he is healthy. He stays on the perimeter for spacing purposes as well. |
8 | Al Horford | BOS | 3 | Horford continues to be productive from the key and the low-block inside. Always reliable for three's. |
9 | Steven Adams | OKC | 4 | Adams is one of the toughest players inside and the Thunder need him in order to get second chance scoring opportunities. |
10 | Nikola Vucevic | ORL | 3 | Vucevic is bouncing around the Magic's lineup and while he will crush second units coming off the bench, the Magic really need help offensively. |
11 | Marcin Gortat | WSH | 3 | Gortat continues to be a huge help on the low block and as long as he is not trying to make crazy cross-court passes, he is effective and will stay in the game. |
12 | Joel Embiid | PHI | 3 | Embiid has been dominant, but will he be able to further shake his playing time restrictions? |
13 | Enes Kanter | OKC | 4 | Kanter has been very effective on both sides of the ball and is a match up nightmare because he can hit long-range shots consistently. |
14 | Pau Gasol | SAS | 3 | Gasol's quietly effective season continues as his finess on the elbow makes him hard to stop and he has been an excellent screen-setter to open up the paint. |
15 | Hassan Whiteside | MIA | 2 | Whiteside is one of the most dominant Center's and is back in full force from his eye injury. |
16 | DeAndre Jordan | LAC | 2 | Jordan will be fed and will still be able to produce a ton of rebounds and blocks for owners. |
17 | Mason Plumlee | POR | 3 | Plumlee continues to show that the Blazers do have a small inside game. To his credit, Plumlee attacks the rim to try and draw contact and is able to get defenders to bite on the pump fake. |
18 | Jonas Valanciunas | TOR | 3 | Valanciunas continues to be productive inside and he does take a few steps out and is able to drain mid-range jumpers. |
19 | Tristan Thompson | CLE | 3 | Thompson continues to be effective off the glass and helps the Cavs by cleaning up the garbage and getting put-backs. |
20 | Joakim Noah | NYK | 4 | That's how thin the position is this week because Noah is a one-way player with limited offense, but he does have four games and he starts. |
