I have to admit that I went real light on DFS over the weekend. This wasn't by design but life has a way of taking you in directions that you never considered and does so in a moments notice. Our family here at Fantasy Alarm has had to deal with some extrodinary situations well outside the boundaries of fantasy sports over the past couple of weeks. While I don't want to bring everyone down here on these pages, I do want to remind myself and all of you how fragile life can be. For all of the minor things that piss us off on a daily basis, there are folks out there dealing with matters far bigger than most of us can imagine. I was reminded this weekend of just why I made this my career. Sports and fantasy sports are an unbelievable escaps and stress reliever for most of us. This is supposed to be fun. I am guilty as hell of taking a Lucas Duda non double way too hard and thus losing myself in the process. Rick Wolf, the President here at Fantasy Alarm has a saying that he reminds us often and that is: Hug 'Em Tight. Life changes fast, if you don't stop and look around every now and then you just may miss it. On to DFS MLB...

First of all we are not supporting the Pirates/Rockies game nor the first game of the Indians/White Sox double header today. Both are early contests and are not a part of the main slates of daily fantasy baseball today. We are supporting the second game of the Indians/White Sox double header though and thus you will see those pitchers and hitters ranked. Secondly, Draft Kings is absolutely insane tonight. They are not offering the night cap of the Indians/White Sox double header (all other sites are) and they seem to have priced certain players like Marcel Ozuna, Daniel Murphy and Kris Bryant as if they are Ted Williams.

There are two games that worry me from a weather perspective. First is the Mets/Nationals where there are thunderstorms in D.C. most of the day and a 40% chance of storms over the stadium during the game. At this point, I would assume this game gets in but possible with a delay. But mind you, I am writing this about 16 hours before the start time so be sure to check back in before finalizing your lineup. The Royals and Twins also have rain in the Minneapolis area with about 40% chance there also. This game is less risky as we speak and I am not worried about it much at all. Again...PLEASE check back on our Lineups Page where we have constant updates with the current weather and tarp situation all of the way through the evening.
