Odell Beckham Jr. has caught a total of 96 yards of passes the last two games. In fact, he’s failed to hit 62 yards in four of seven games this season. If you catch 62 yards of passes a game, and see the field 16 times, you fall eight yards short of 1,000.

Le’Veon Bell is averaging 3.6 yards per carry AFTER contact. DeMarco Murray is averaging 3.5 yards per carry this season. Read that again to take in the impact of the statement.

Blake Bortles continues to be a bit of a mystery. On passes thrown to the left side of the field, actually outside the left numbers, he was 4-for-5 for 96 yards and a score against the Bills. He completed fewer than 40 percent of his passes over the rest of the gridiron.

Tom Brady completed 9-of-14 passes for 181 yards on passes that were in the air for more than 10 yards in Week 7. He was able to complete 34-of-54 passes despite having nine passes dropped (Brandon LaFell dropped six passes in what might be the worst day in the history of pass catching, even if multiple passes were low). Think of that. He threw for 355 yards and two scores and his receivers dropped nine passes. Pretty remarkable. Danny Amendola was the exception as he caught all eight of his targets for 86 yards and a score.

Teddy Bridgewater threw for 316 yards and two scores in Week 7. That was his first game in which he tossed two scores and his first game over 270 passing yards this season. He’s not trustworthy.

Martavis Bryant has scored 11 times in 12 career games.

Amari Cooper went for over 100 yards in Week 7. That effort made him the first rookie with three 100-yard receiving games in his team’s first six games since Mike Ditka pulled off the trick in 1961.

Stefon Diggs made one of the best catches you will ever see in Week 7. He caught six passes in total. That’s the third straight game he has done that. He went for 108 yards in Week 7. That’s a third straight game with at least 87 yards. The score was his first of the year. It’s obvious now – he’s the only pass catching option on the team that can reliably be counted on.

Nick Foles stinks. His teammates, other than Todd Gurley, certainly don’t help much, but Foles simply hasn’t produced this season. At all. Over his last five games he’s failed to throw for 200 yards in any outing. He also has thrown for six touchdowns in six games. Let’s stop the questions about starting him, even in two QB leagues.

Dorial Green-Beckham – Just stop with wanting to start him. He was on the field for 67 percent of the snaps and Week 7 and the result was – nothing. He didn’t catch a single pass. Not one. Don’t know why people keep trying to start him. He’s played six games and caught six passes on a mere 12 targets.

Todd Gurley has run for at least 125 yards in three straight games. In Week 7 he carried the ball 19 times for 128 yards and two scores (he also caught four passes for 35 yards). Gurley forced the Browns to miss 11 tackles, the highest mark of any runner this season against any club. He gained 97 yards after contact as well. #Beastly

T.Y. Hilton had four grabs for 150 yards and two scores in Week 7. However, on both of his scores the defender fell down. Take out the two scores and Hilton caught two balls for 17 yards… on 13 targets.

DeAndre Hopkins has caught at least nine balls for 145 yards in three straight games, the first time a wideout has ever done that. He failed to make it four straight games as he caught six balls for 50 yards in Week 7. Nate Washington was the breakout star of the day doing a “Hopkins” – catching nine passes for 127 yards and two scores. Back to Hopkins. He was targeted 12 times, a seventh straight outing for Hopkins with at least 11 targets.

Colin Kaepernick stinks. Against the Seahawks he completed just 3-of-10 passes that were classified as “short” throws. For the fourth time in seven outings Colin failed to reach 170 passing yards. He’s also failed to throw a touchdown pass in four of seven games. At least he’s only thrown one pick in four games. Yeah, that doesn’t really help does it?

Andrew Luck, according to Pro Football Focus, has had a negative grade five times this season. That’s awful. While the O-Line has taken its fair share of hits, there is also this fact – Luck held onto the ball for an average of 2.92 seconds per pass attempt in Week 7, the longest mark in the league. He made bad decisions all day even when he held onto the ball to make sure he was doing it right. He was able to throw for 300 yards and three scores for a second straight game, though, even if he hasn’t looked good doing it either time out.

Peyton Manning is… Tim Tebow? Check out the report.

Lamar Miller carried the ball 14 times for 175 yards and a score while catching three passes for 61 yards and another score against the Texans in Week 7. He did all that in the first half as the Dolphins destroyed the Texans (they were up 41-0 at the half). Miller has 33 carries the last two games. With the old head coach he carried the ball 37 times in four games.

Adrian Peterson carried the ball 26 times for 60 yards against the Chiefs in Week 6. In Week 7 he carried the ball 19 times for 98 yards, so much better. Or was it? AD had a long run of 75 yards late in the game meaning that if you remove that one 75-yard carry Peterson has carried the ball 44 times for 83 yards the last two weeks. That’s pathetic.

Philip Rivers has completed 215 passes through seven games. That’s the most completions in NFL history through seven games (Rich Gannon completed 214 passes in 2002). Rivers has thrown at least 48 passes his last three games, and at least 58 the last two. That’s ridiculous.

Russell Wilson wasn’t very good when under pressure in Week 7, but when he had a clean pocket he torched the Niners going 12-for-14 for 153 yards and a score.

The key for the Bucs – keep the pocket clean. In Week 7 Jameis Winston had an 82 percent completion percentage from throwing in the pocket. When forced to move outside the pocket the number tumbled to 42.9 percent.

Danny Woodhead caught seven passes for 50 yards and a score… on the Chargers' final possession in Week 7. He produced 18 fantasy points in a PPR setup on one series. Nuts. On the day he averaged 5.2 yards a carry on five touches and he caught 11 passes for 72 yards and two scores as well.

T.J. Yeldon returned from injury and looked sharp against the Bills, gaining 78 of his 115 yards after contact. If only the coaching staff didn’t repeatedly give the ball to Toby Gerhart at the goal line. Gerhart failed. Hopefully the coaching staff has seen the error of their ways.
