We have a small four-game slate ahead of us, so it’ll be a bit tougher than usual to diversify your picks compared to the masses.
Point Guard
J.J. Barea and Seth Curry are listed as out for tonight’s game against the Suns. That leaves Yogi Ferrell and Devin Harris to man the PG minutes. This game should be relatively high scoring and the Suns are awful against opposing PGs. At $4,800, it’s tough to fade Yogi Ferrell.
Mike Conley will take on the Pistons who have officially given up this season. The Grizzlies are still fighting for playoff position so Conley will still play heavy minutes. He’s a pretty decent play tonight.
Ricky Rubio has surprised each and every basketball fan out there. He’s scoring the basketball. It’s not something we’ve seen from Rubio but who’s complaining? He takes on the Lakers tonight and he should be able to notch yet another double-double.
D’Angelo Russell is back and he comes at a discount. He missed a couple games with a sore knee but he should be back to full strength this game. The Wolves and Lakers always score a ton of points when they face each other so stack this game.

Shooting Guard
As stated previously, the Mavs are dangerously thin in the backcourt. Devin Harris is going to come off the bench but he should see minutes in the mid-20’s. He doesn’t have much upside; however, he’s only $3,000.
Devin Booker is still on fire. Sure, he’s not going to score 70 again but his price is somehow just $8,000. He’s a fantastic cash game play, but you could definitely look elsewhere in tournaments.
Honestly, that’s really it for SGs. If you don’t go cheap with Harris or spend up with Booker, you can play D’Angelo Russell at the SG spot or even Pat Beverley -- he’s just a little too inconsistent for me.

Small Forward
Through three contests, Andrew Wiggins is averaging 48 fantasy points per game against the Lakers. He’s typically a mediocre player against every other team in the NBA but for some reason he kills the Lakers. Play him in tournaments.
T.J. Warren may be a young player but he’s been extremely consistent as of late. He’s scored below 30 fantasy points just twice over the last ten games. His price dipped below $7,000 for the first time in a couple weeks so take advantage of the discount.
Dorian Finney-Smith is a terrible per-minute producer. He just played 30 minutes and scored 10 fantasy points. It’s extremely aggravating but with Harrison Barnes out for tonight, he should see heavy run again. He’s more likely to near the 20 point mark than the 10 point mark.

Power Forward
Similar to Wiggins, Gorgui Dieng just plays well against the Lakers. He’s played poorly as of late but he’s in a great spot to bounce back. Dieng isn’t an exciting play so limit your exposure.
Save at PF. Henry Ellenson, the Pistons first round pick, is finally seeing the minutes he deserves. The underachieving Pistons have given up this season and Ellenson logged his first start of the season. In just 26 minutes, he notched a double-double and helped secure a win over the Rockets.
With Harry B out, Dwight Powell also benefits. It’d be a lot easier if Dirk just gets ruled out but we don’t have that luxury. If Dirk suits up, Powell is nothing more than a GPP dart throw.

Center
Marc Gasol is likely going to guard the man himself, Boban Marjanovic. That could cause some problems as he’s a force. But Gasol is obviously the better player. He’s affordable at just $7,400 and he’s a good bet for 40. As I said before with Conley, the Grizzlies are still battling for playoff position so he should play heavy minutes. It helps that Zach Randolph is also out.
Clint Capela is an interesting play each night. He doesn’t have a ton of upside because he rarely plays over 25 minutes. He also rarely scores below 25 fantasy points or over 35 fantasy points. At $5,700 this makes him a tough play in GPPs because he rarely hits that ceiling, but he’s a fine cash play.
Boban Marjanovic’s price has jumped $1,900 since his last game. Wow. He scored 46 fantasy points in just 27 minutes. With a performance like that, SVG should play him 25-30 minutes once again.
