Point Guard

Rajon Rondo is out and that means we should see plenty of Jerian Grant. He’s averaged 30 minutes in the contests where Rondo has sat out this season so he makes for an excellent value play.

The triple-double machine, Russell Westbrook is a near must-play in cash games against the Wizards. His efficiency has been abysmal but that’s not what we care about as DFS players. FanDuel penalizes you a bit more for turnovers but he’s likely going to log his sixth straight triple-double so there isn’t too much room to complain.

If Jerryd Bayless is out yet again, look for Sergio Rodriguez as yet another value play. Spanish Chocolate has been killing it lately and he’s a good bet for 5x value against the Nuggets.

With nearly the entire Dallas backcourt injured, Deron Williams of all people is the last man standing. Granted he missed the beginning of the season, it’s still surprising considering he’s one of the most injury prone guys. He’s still way too cheap on DraftKings so give him a look.

John Wall gets the Brooklyn Nets and we know that’ll work out. Wall should have a field day against the Nets so make sure you have some exposure to him.

Shooting Guard

Will Barton is one of my favorite DFS players. He seems to hit value each and every time I pick him and it’s been no different this season. He’s been dealing with an ankle injury for some time now, but it appears he’s finally over it. Look for him to hit 7-8x value tonight if he’s making his shots against the Sixers.

DeMar DeRozan has finally dipped below $8,000 and is well worth considering at home against the Cavs. The guy basically scores and that’s about it so he’s only a cash game option for me.

With Rajon Rondo out of the lineup, both Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade are worthy of consideration considering the ball will be in there hands quite a bit. Portland’s defense is not great and Butler shredded the Blazers the last time Rondo sat. Both are two of the top plays at their position.

Small Forward

Gordon Hayward is one of my favorite plays of the night, especially if George Hill remains out -- which he should. Hayward has been on a tear recently and I don’t see the Lakers getting close to slowing him down.

Despite coming off the bench, Wilson Chandler has still been killing it. He’s facing the Sixers but his price is still a little too expensive for my liking. He’s a GPP play due to his potential to explode at low ownership.

That’s really it for me at SF, Otto Porter is worth considering but his price is a bit too high for me. I’d personally just throw Jimmy Butler, Gordon Hayward or Will Barton in at SF since they have that eligibility on DK.

 Power Forward

The obvious top play is Anthony Davis. I personally won’t have too much exposure too him because of a guy named Russell Westbrook. It’s nearly impossible to fit both so pick your poison here. The Grizzlies have done well against PFs but Anthony Davis is a different animal.

Before last game, Taj Gibson was rolling. The entire Bulls squad fell apart against the Mavs with Dwyane Wade out. Gibson should see 30 minutes in this contest and he’s fairly consistent so it’s fair to expect 5x value.

LaMarcus Aldridge has been a bit quiet lately but he is in a prime bounce-back spot against the Bucks. They struggle to guard big men and Aldridge could get back on track in this one. He’s a GPP play.

 Center

Marcin Gortat gets a solid matchup along with teammate John Wall. The Nets have been flat out awful against opposing centers and Gortat is coming off a massive 55 fantasy point performance. He’s not going to do that again but he’s worth considering in both formats.

We’ve all seen Joel Embiid in limited minutes but now his minutes have been raised to 28. That makes a bigger difference than you’d imagine. He hasn’t scored below 36 fantasy points over his last five games.

Enes Kanter is only in consideration if Steven Adams misses tonight’s game. There’s a decent chance he sits and Kanter would be a great play against the Hawks.
Clint Capela is facing the poor-rebounding Celtics and he’s an option once again after numerous poor matchups. He’s going to fly under the radar because of his game log but you need to have some exposure to him.
