2026 Fantasy Football Player Profile

2025 Season Recap

Jonathan Taylor was magnificent in 2025. He led the league with 323 carries and 18 rushing touchdowns while finishing with 1,585 rushing yards and a career-high 20 total scores. He also added 46 catches for 378 yards and two more receiving touchdowns. Through the first 13 weeks he was on pace for one of the all-time great running back seasons. Then Daniel Jones tore his Achilles and Indianapolis had to survive on backup quarterback play down the stretch, which cut into Taylor's ceiling. He still finished as the overall RB4 in full PPR fantasy with 362.3 points despite all of that.

2026 Fantasy Outlook

The most proven pure rusher on this board, Taylor sits as the consensus RB3 and is entering a contract year, which historically is when backs like Taylor go out and absolutely remind everyone of what they are. Daniel Jones is coming back from the Achilles injury, which restores some semblance of a passing threat and should keep defenses from loading nine in the box every play. If Indianapolis gives him a functional offense to work with, there is a legitimate argument Taylor finishes as the overall RB1. He is a first-round pick in every format and one of the players we feel most confident in at his price.
