2022 Player Outlook
You have to feel good about Russell Gage's fit in this Tampa Bay offense after he was personally recruiting by Tom Brady in free agency. In 2021, Gage stepped up in the absence of Calvin Ridley, becoming the only real downfield target for Matt Ryan. He ended the season with 770 yards on 66 receptions in four touchdowns. While those numbers don't jump off the page, Gage has a much better opportunity to produce in 2022 on a much higher passing volume team that will be missing Chris Godwin for the first several weeks of the season. Even when Godwin returns, Gage could maintain some flex value due to the retirement of Rob Gronkowski. For the ceiling he has in this offense, you're getting a bargain at his ADP.
