2022 Player Outlook

After finishing as the overall RB1 in fantasy in 2018 and RB10 in 2019, Saquon Barkley has been frustrating for fantasy managers to say the least. In 2021, Barkley missed four games, but even when he was on the field, his production was hampered by bad offensive line play. He only averaged 3.66 yards per attempt and ended the season with 593 rushing yards. To make matter worse, the Giants ranked 31st in offensive scoring, so there wasn't much opportunity for Barkley to score fantasy points on this offense. The Giants did upgrade their offensive line by adding Evan Neal and Joshua Ezuedu, and Barkley does appear healthy, but he's still a risky fantasy play on this offense.
