2023 Player Outlook
Speaking strictly on the field, the 2022 season left much to be desired for Watson who returned after having not apeared in a game since the 2020 season. The Browns QB struggled, completing just 58% of his passes for 1,102 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that he was just dealing with a little "ring rust" the 2023 season will be the real tell tale sign as to what version of Deshaun Watson the Browns have committed themselves to. Cleveland has plenty of offensive talent with Amari Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones, David Njoku returning along with newcomers Elijah Moore and rookie Cedric Tillman to go along with running back Nick Chubb. Watson is an intriguing grab in drafts this season as we saw him finish as a top five fantasy QB the last time he played an entire season.
