Tyler Glasnow’s 2025 season was a familiar story of elite dominance interrupted by frustrating durability concerns. The towering right-hander made 18 starts for the Dodgers, posting a sharp 3.19 ERA and 106 strikeouts in 90.1 innings. When healthy, he was one of the most effective pitchers in baseball, limiting opponents to a .225 average and maintaining a massive 29.0% strikeout rate. However, a mid-season injury likely related to his back or oblique given the "side soreness" reported during the World Series cost him significant time, limiting his volume once again. He returned for the postseason but was clearly compromised, exiting Game 6 of the World Series early.
