2026 Fantasy Baseball Player Profile

Kyle Schwarber authored the most productive season of his career in 2025, solidifying his reputation as the premier power threat in the National League. Appearing in all 162 games, he led the league with a career-high 56 home runs and paced all of Major League Baseball with 132 RBIs. His .240/.365/.563 slash line was supported by elite plate discipline, as he finished fifth in the majors with 108 walks, resulting in a robust .928 OPS. Beyond the power, Schwarber surprised analysts by tying a career-best with 10 stolen bases, showing a rare burst of speed on the basepaths for a slugger of his profile. His historic output earned him his third All-Star selection and ultimately led to a runner-up finish in the National League MVP voting, second only to Juan Soto.

Entering 2026, Schwarber returns to Philadelphia after signing a record-setting five-year, $150 million contract during the winter. Most major projection systems, including Steamer and ZiPS, anticipate a slight regression from his monstrous 2025 totals but still forecast him as a premier forty-homer threat. He is projected to hit between 39 and 44 home runs with approximately 105 RBIs and 100 runs scored, while his batting average is expected to settle back toward his career baseline in the .230 to .233 range. Manager Rob Thomson has utilized Schwarber in the number two spot during early spring training games, a placement that should continue to maximize his plate appearances and run-scoring opportunities in a deep Phillies lineup. His fantasy draft stock has risen into the second round with an average draft position of approximately 22.0, as he remains the safest source of elite power and walks in the game.

AVG, OBP, SLG, ERA and WHIP are season-to-date through each game, not that game alone — so the column reads as a trend and its last value is the season figure. They stay season-to-date when the log is filtered by opponent; the figure for the filtered games is the one in the Total row. The second game of a doubleheader is marked (2).
