2022 Player Outlook

2021 was a career year for Belt. His power was on full display and what’s more impressive is that he didn’t even play in 100 games. In 97 games last season, Belt slashed .274/.378/.597 with 29 home runs, 65 runs, and 59 RBI. That would’ve been a 48-home run pace across 162 games. Heading into 2022, Belt does have a thumb injury we’ll need to keep an eye on. Like La Stella he probably won’t be at full strength for Spring Training. But he’s back with San Francisco on a one-year deal and he was a big reason why San Francisco surprisingly won the NL West last season. At his current ADP, he’s being drafted outside the top 200 players.
