Another week in the books and we close out Week 10 with another NFL DFS Monday Night Football Playbook for Showdown contests on DraftKings and FanDuel. The Philadelphia Eagles head to Wisconsin to take on the Green Bay Packers in a potential playoff preview in the NFC. These two teams met twice last year: in Week 1 in the first NFL game in Brazil and then again in the playoffs. The Eagles claimed victory in both matchups so this is an opportunity for the Packers to avenge those losses while staying atop the NFC North. Let’s end the week on a high note with the latest Showdown Playbook and our Eagles vs. Packers DFS picks!

NFL DFS Monday Night Football Playbook; Eagles vs. Packers Game Preview

We get to put a bow on Week 10 with a great matchup out of the NFC with the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Green Bay Packers. These teams met in the playoffs last year and obviously it was a win for the Eagles amidst their Super Bowl run. The Eagles sit at 6-2 and have very little competition in the NFC East. The Packers are 5-2-1 and could fall from first-to-third in the NFC North if they lose this game.

The sportsbooks are projecting a close, competitive game against two offenses that have leaned heavily on the ground game so far. The Packers are slight favorites (-1.5) at home and the total is right around 45.5 points for this matchup giving both teams an implied total over 20 points.

The Eagles are fresh off their Bye week and despite all the rumors and possibilities of them dealing A.J. Brown at the NFL Trade Deadline this past Tuesday, they stood their ground and he remains with the team after missing Week 8’s game due to a hamstring injury. Brown has voiced his displeasures quite a few times the last couple seasons with Philadelphia not invoking the aerial attack enough. But the team will keep him for at least the remainder of this season as they look to go back-to-back as Super Bowl champions.

The Packers, on the other hand, have dealt with a decent amount of injuries offensively. The biggest one occurred last week as Tucker Kraft was lost for the year because of a torn ACL. Luke Musgrave has a great opportunity to step up in his place, and there’s room for Christian Watson to make the Packers feel good about the one-year extension he signed for over $13 million in 2026.

From top-to-bottom we have some great players for our NFL DFS Monday Night Football Playbook as we have quite a few options to consider on both teams that carry significant usage with short yardage work inside the 10-yard line. Let’s take a look at the top Eagles vs. Packers DFS picks to wrap up Week 10!

Eagles vs. Packers Notable Injuries & Inactives

The Philadelphia Eagles have ruled out newly acquired defensive back, Jaire Alexander. Alexander is rehabbing his knee and has only appeared in two games this year. So he didn’t travel with the team for a potential revenge game against the Packers. Philadelphia has also ruled out interior offensive lineman, Cam Jurgens.

The Green Bay Packers had a rather active injury report this past week. They lost star tight end, Tucker Kraft for the season and among their wide receivers, they’re listing Matthew Golden, Dontayvion Wicks, and Savion Williams as questionable. On the defensive side they’ve already ruled out Nate Hobbs and Lukas Van Ness.

NFL DFS Showdown MVP/Captain for Monday Night Football, 11/10

Jalen Hurts, QB, Philadelphia EaglesDraftKings: $11,000 | FanDuel: $13,200

Playing Hurts at Captain definitely has its perks. For starters there’s a good floor-and-ceiling combination. Even if he isn’t optimal at Captain, there’s a strong chance he’s at least done enough to give you a shot at still cashing. He has 19+ fantasy points per DraftKings scoring in all but one game this season including four performances with at least 24 points. He’s also the beneficiary of the Tush Push even though he has just one rushing touchdown dating back to Week 4. But he did go into the team’s Bye week with multiple touchdown passes in five of his last six games.

Entering Week 10, Hurts ranked 9th among qualified quarterbacks in EPA/Play (0.18), 6th in completion percentage over expected (6.8%), and he’s surprisingly 6th in average depth of target (8.8). The issue with the passing volume is that he only has three games all year with more than 30 pass attempts. But the efficiency is well above average and he has weapons at his disposal that have a nose for the end zone.

Josh Jacobs, RB, Green Bay Packers – DraftKings: $10,600 | FanDuel: $12,600

It’s a little surprising that Saquon Barkley is more expensive than Jacobs on DraftKings at this stage in the season. To each their own, but we love targeting Jacobs at Captain for any Showdown slate the Packers are on. It could all be as simple as touchdown equity if we’re being honest. He has eight touchdowns in his last five games with 10 total on the season already.

He’s yet to log the 100-yard bonus on DraftKings but he has flirted with it in a few games. He also carries nice involvement in the passing game and that’s a great bonus because Green Bay will be without Tucker Kraft and possibly Matthew Golden and Dontayvion Wicks.

The Eagles are giving up over 120 rushing yards per game and the Packers offensive line ranks 3rd in stuffed run rate (13.2%). The Eagles run defense ranks 31st in stuffed run rate (13.0%) and 29th in rush success rate (46.4%). When the Packers get the ball inside the 10-yard line there’s a good chance it’s going to Jacobs and given how the Eagles have struggled to stop the run, Jacobs could very well pop for 100+ rushing yards Monday night.

Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers – DraftKings: $10,000 | FanDuel: $11,400

This is a tough one because the matchup is no cake walk. But at the same time, Love’s best performances this season have come in primetime. In Week 2 against the Washington Commanders, he threw for 292 yards and a pair of touchdowns while finishing with 20.2 fantasy points on DraftKings. In the Week 4 tie on Sunday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys, he threw for 337 yards with three touchdowns for 30.3 points on DraftKings. And two weeks ago against the Pittsburgh Steelers he threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns for 31.3 fantasy points on DraftKings. And in all three primetime games, he did not commit a turnover.

Love entered Week 10 ranking 2nd among qualified quarterbacks in EPA/Play (0.33), 5th in success rate (52.3%), and 4th in completion percentage over expected (8.2%) per Sam Hoppen. He’s completing 70.3% of his pass attempts on the season and he has back-to-back performances with 37 attempts so we like the additional volume. He doesn’t have the rushing upside of Jalen Hurts (obviously), but if he continues the trend of big performances in primetime then we could be looking at his third performance with three touchdowns and the passing bonus on DraftKings.

Mid-Tier & DFS Value Plays for Monday

Saquon Barkley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles – DraftKings: $10,800 | FanDuel: $12,200

Barkley is certainly worth playing at Captain if you see fit. But I’m mostly a DraftKings player and for the Showdown slate, there isn’t a seismic difference in pricing between Hurts and Barkley. So I listed Hurts above because he’s simply had more “floor” performances and more spike weeks. Barkley’s best game of the season occurred prior to the Bye week and it surprisingly took him until Week 8 to see him rush for 100+ yards in a game this season.

Perhaps he’s just worn down and a bit sluggish after the heavy volume from a year ago. It all paid off with a Super Bowl win at the end of the day. But the Packers are pretty tough to run on. On the year they’re allowing the 5th fewest rushing yards per game (89.4) and the Philadelphia offensive line touts a stuffed run rate of 23.7% which is actually 3rd worst in the league.

The good news with Barkley is that he is capable of excelling even in the worst matchups. He’s a PPR commodity with two receiving touchdowns on the season and he has at least four receptions in half his games this season. But again, I give a slight edge to Hurts but it would surprise nobody if Barkley ended up breaking the slate.

A.J. Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles – DraftKings: $9,200 | FanDuel: $10,600

DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles – DraftKings: $9,000 | FanDuel: $9,400

Brown and Smith seemingly always have a squeaky wheel narrative in play although Brown’s a bit more vocal than Smith. Brown missed Philly’s Week 8 matchup prior to the team’s Bye week, but in his two previous games he combined for 10 receptions on 15 targets for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Smith has been fed steadily throughout the year and recorded 80+ receiving years in three-of-four games leading up to the Bye week. In total, across his last four games, he has 27 receptions on 35 targets for 430 total yards but just one touchdown.

I’m not a huge fan of playing them together simply because Jalen Hurts does have five performances this year with 24 or fewer pass attempts. But all 15 of his passing touchdowns have come in Philadelphia’s last six games so the complaints about the passing game may not have fallen on deaf ears. Fortunately, for the Eagles pass catchers, this game is projecting to stay close and competitive so the Eagles can’t solely rely on the running game.

Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers – DraftKings: $8,000 | FanDuel: $8,200

Doubs has been arguably the most consistent wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers amidst all their injuries. He’s a free agent after this season so he’s doing his best to earn a contract for next year and it’s a bit awkward because the Packers were willing to at least give Christian Watson a short extension keeping him in Green Bay through 2026.

Doubs has done everything asked of him. All four of his touchdowns came prior to the team’s Bye week. However, he did have a huge three-touchdown performance in primetime in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. Since the Bye week he’s averaging over eight targets per game. Doubs now commands 39.6% of the team’s air yards and that could grow a little bit with Kraft done for the year.

Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers – DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $7,200

It’s hard to skip over Dallas Goedert on the Philadelphia side since all seven of his touchdowns this year have come since Week 3. But he only has 30 receptions on the season and seven of them have been touchdowns. Over 40% of his fantasy points on DraftKings have come via touchdowns, so that screams for regression in my opinion.

So I want to highlight Christian Watson who may be a good pivot off Goedert. There’s no Tucker Kraft and both Matthew Golden and Dontayvion Wicks are questionable to play Monday night. It’s possible Doubs sees more of the coverage from Quinyon Mitchell and the Eagles announced that Jaire Alexander won’t play so that could free up Watson just a bit.

Since making his debut this season, he’s averaging at least 2.7 yards per route run against all coverages, including 3.7 YPRR against man coverage which the Eagles deploy at a top 10 rate in the NFL. He only has eight targets in his two games this season, but he is a deep threat with receptions of 30+ yards in each of his last two games. He is a bit of a Hail Mary kind of play, but we also know he can win contested catches in the end zone.

NFL DFS Dart Throw Bargains

Luke Musgrave, TE, Green Bay Packers – DraftKings: $5,400 | FanDuel: $5,200

With Tucker Kraft’s epic season coming to an end, the Packers look to Luke Musgrave to step up in lieu of Kraft. Musgrave actually went one round earlier than Kraft in the 2023 NFL Draft and had some promising moments as a rookie a couple years ago. However, Kraft emerged in 2024 and entered this season as the TE1 for the Packers. With Kraft out for the remainder of the season, we’re a little unsure what to expect of Musgrave going forward.

This is a tough matchup for him and I’d prefer to play Musgrave mostly on FanDuel because $5,200 is dirt cheap over there while $5,400 on DraftKings isn’t much of a discount. Kraft did bring in all three targets a week ago when Kraft got hurt, but the Eagles have only allowed one opposing tight end to score this season, and they’re giving up the third-fewest fantasy points to the position. Perhaps if the overall DFS field is loading up on this play expecting Kraft-esque numbers, then the FAmily would be wise to go underweight if entering multiple lineups.

Malik Heath, WR, Green Bay Packers – DraftKings: $3,000 | FanDuel: $2,400

Values and dart throws are few and far between for this matchup. But Malik Heath can get some run if Golden and/or Wicks are ruled out. Heath hasn’t done much of late obviously, but he has four receptions on as many targets for 40 yards in his last two games. Heath initially appeared on the team’s injury report, but he carries no designation for the latest NFL DFS Monday Night Football Showdown Playbook.

Emanuel Wilson, RB, Green Bay Packers – DraftKings: $2,600 | FanDuel: $3,600

It’s not pretty but these offenses are rather consolidated. Could a cheap pass catcher emerge on either side? Sure. But Emanuel Wilson is incredibly affordable with at least six touches in five of his last six games. And since Week 4 he’s gone over 10 fantasy points in two games largely due to the production in the passing game. And again, we already noted how the Eagles struggle to stop the run. This isn’t a play you get cute with and play at Captain. But he’s a cheap Flex option that allows you to balance your build with plays seeing more volume.
