UPDATED 11/14

While injuries for fantasy football certainly haven’t stopped, we’re actually getting some good news on a few players this week. With the playoffs approaching, this sparks some good news for managers who need some high-level performances to get in for a championship run. With only two teams on bye, let’s peek at who could potentially help or hurt teams for the rest of the season.

WEEK 11 BYES: Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints

NFL Week 11 Injury Report: Quarterbacks

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Burrow was activated to the designated to return status, meaning his 21-day window has opened up. He will practice this week in a limited fashion. Burrow’s return could be a huge addition for teams and managers, though Joe Flacco has been solid in relief of him.

Jaxson Dart, New York Giants

Dart suffered a concussion against Chicago, which removed him from action. Dart will likely miss this weekend's game, given this was not his first concussion evaluation of the year, and he’s dealt with other injuries. Especially with Brian Daboll being fired, they may play it extra safe with their breakout QB.

Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

11/14 UPDATE

Purdy will start this weekend, marking his first game action since September 28th. This is a big piece of news for the 49ers as they attempt to return to the playoffs.

Purdy missed this weekend's game and has not returned to practice in a full capacity since his injury. Purdy will likely not start unless he can log full practices this week, so we will monitor the injury report here.

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

11/14 UPDATE

After missing last week with a concussion, Stroud will also miss this weekend's game as he is still in concussion protocol. Davis Mills will get the start again this week, and he was solid in relief of Stroud last week.

NFL Week 11 Injury Report: Running Backs

Omarion Hampton, Los Angeles Chargers

Hampton is getting work in on the side in practice as of last week, so he’s getting closer to being able to return. That said, I’m not expecting him for the next week or two.

Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

11/14 UPDATE

Bucky has returned to practice in a limited fashion, much earlier than expected. While he will be out this weekend, this is a good sign for the fantasy playoffs.

Irving has not returned to practice and is not expected to play this weekend, per head coach Todd Bowles. I’m treating this as a season-ending injury for fantasy purposes for Bucky and will look elsewhere for production at RB.

Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs

11/14 UPDATE

Pacheco is still a non-participant at practice and has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. Kareem Hunt and Brashard Smith are expected to see the bulk of work in his place.

J.K. Dobbins, Denver Broncos

11/14 UPDATE

Dobbins has not yet returned to practice as he continues to deal with a foot injury. I’m expecting Dobbins to miss this week, and potentially more time as well, meaning RJ Harvey could be approaching league winner status if he picks up more of the work.

NFL Week 11 Injury Report: Wide Receivers

Garrett Wilson, New York Jets

11/14 UPDATE

Garrett Wilson is being placed on IR. He will be out for a minimum of 4 weeks as a result.

Wilson returned this past weekend, only to suffer a sprain of the same knee he previously injured. He’s not being placed on IR but will miss 3-4 weeks.

Chris Godwin Jr., Tampa Bay Buccaneers

11/14 UPDATE

Godwin has returned to practice in a limited fashion but will not play this weekend. This is a good sign for the Buccs and managers alike, as Godwin may be closer to returning than anticipated.

Godwin is not expected to play this week, per head coach Todd Bowles. Until we have further clarity here, I’m treating this injury as season-ending for fantasy purposes and would be dropping Godwin for a piece that can assist.

Darius Slayton, New York Giants

11/14 UPDATE

Slayton is expected to miss this week’s matchup with a hamstring injury. Slayton had some excitement with him based on Jameis Winston being the projected starter, but this will have to wait. Wan’Dale Robinson and Theo Johnson are expected to lead the pass catchers.

Brian Thomas, Jacksonville Jaguars

11/14 UPDATE

Brian Thomas Jr is back at practice in a limited fashion.

Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans

11/14 UPDATE

While we haven’t gotten any definitive news on Ridley, he did return to practice in a limited fashion this week. The team may want to keep him inactive for one more week until he’s fully healthy, but at this time, I wouldn’t be confident putting him into lineups even if active.

Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders

McLaurin will travel with the team this week to Madrid, but will not play, per head coach Dan Quinn. McLaurin is nearing season-ending injury status for me as well, as he has not been close to being active since re-injuring himself.

NFL Week 11 Injury Report: Tight Ends

Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

11/14 UPDATE

Kincaid is officially being ruled out with his hamstring injury. He will miss this game, and Dalton Knox will take his place.

Kincaid suffered a hamstring injury that took him out of action on Sunday. He is currently expected to be week-to-week at this time, and we will have to monitor this consistently.

Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars

11/14 UPDATE

Strange has returned to practice, but is still ruled out this week with his hip injury. Strange will have to wait until Week 12 to find playing time again.

Strange is having his status elevated to designated to return from the IR, meaning his 21-day practice window will open. This will be a major addition for the Jaguars as Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter both deal with injuries, and this passing room needs some help.

Oronde Gadsden, Los Angeles Chargers

Gadsden has been diagnosed with a bruised quadriceps after an MRI on Monday morning. Hopefully, the breakout rookie will not miss any time, but it’s possible this could at least be an issue in the immediate future.

Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions

11/14 UPDATE

Sam LaPorta is dealing with a back injury that will keep him out of this week's matchup. This is a huge hit for managers and the Lions, as LaPorta is a key piece of this offense. Brock Wright projects to pick up more of the work in his absence, but Wright is not in streaming range for me.
