TJ Friedl MLB Picks At Sleeper Fantasy Today, 4/29: Baseball Projections

Tuesday is here, we’ve got a full slate of baseball games and yet another opportunity to win some money on Sleeper Fantasy with our MLB DFS pick ’em picks!
While there are some fantastic pitchers on the mound tonight – Garrett Crochet, Zack Wheeler, Bryce Miller, just a to name a few, I love a lot of the hitting on this slate. We have favorable ballparks in Coors Field, Great American and George Steinbrenner Field and there are a ton of hitters who are on quite the streak, most notably, Bobby Witt who is riding a 19-game hit streak right now. His numbers are all juiced up right now, but we’ve got some great value elsewhere. Let’s get to it.

TJ Friedl Sleeper Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (1.62x)
While he’s cooled off the last two games, Friedl has been fantastic in recent weeks and had hit safely in eight of nine games prior. That run also came with four multi-hit performances as well. Tonight, the lefty-swinging Friedl gets a very hittable Miles Mikolas tonight. The Cardinals righty is coming off a solid start against the Braves his last time out, but that 5.70 ERA and 1.52 WHIP say it all. He’s allowing lefty hitters to post a .347 wOBA against him and Friedl is slashing .295/.337/.420 against righties this season. The Reds leadoff man should have no trouble getting on-base while the surrounding lineup knocks him in.
Ian Happ Sleeper Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (1.72x)
We’ll roll with another leadoff man here and take Happ to get the better of Andrew Heaney in this battle of the NL Central. The Pirates lefty has looked good over his last two starts, but what goes up must come down. Or in this case, what goes down must come up? Ither way, the Cubs are wrecking southpaws this season (.378 wOBA) and Happ has been one of the major components of that. He’s posting a .400 wOBA against southpaws this season and drawing walks at a 16.2-percent clip. He should cash for us fairly early in this game.
Total Multiplier: 2.78x
