Alexander Steen Headshot

Steen scored an empty-net goal and added an assist in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Senators.

Steen has really come on of late, registering five goals and four assists in his past 11 games. This was his first multi-point effort in that stretch, however, and the first such performance since Dec. 9 for Steen overall. With 26 points and a minus-12 rating in 42 appearances, the 33-year-old forward has been a fringe contributor in most fantasy settings.

Jaroslav Halak Headshot

Halak allowed four goals on 33 shots during Thursday's 5-2 loss to Boston.

This was another discouraging showing from Halak, as he's now allowed four goals or more in eight of his past nine outings. Until there is marked improvement, it's difficult to start him confidently. After all, the 32-year-old Czech sports a grotesque .905 save percentage and 3.25 GAA for the campaign.

Brad Marchand Headshot

Marchand recorded a goal and two assists during Thursday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

Now up to five goals and nine assists through his past seven games, Marchand has improved to an elite 3.86 points per 60 minutes for the campaign. Those numbers have him positioned among the best scorers in the league, and his plus-21 rating is also gold in formats including the category. The Nova Scotia native continues to affirm that last season's 85-point showing was no fluke.

Morgan Rielly Headshot

Per coach Mike Babcock, Rielly is being evaluated for an injury following Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flyers, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.

Rielly appeared to be in some pain when he exited Thursday's loss towards the end of the second period, but he was able to return for the third period and finish the game, albeit in a somewhat limited fashion. The Maple Leafs should release another update on the 23-year-old blueliner's status ahead of Saturday's matchup with Ottawa.

David Krejci Headshot

Krejci collected two assists, four shots and a plus-2 rating during Thursday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

The pair of helpers extended Krejci's point streak to four games (two goals and four assists) and also give him nine points through eight contests since returning from a lower-body injury. The Czech has proven to be a reliable offensive contributor and projects to continue offering solid supporting numbers for the majority of fantasy settings.

Bobby Ryan Headshot

Ryan (hand) celebrated his return to the lineup after a nine-day absence by scoring his team's only goal in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Blues.

While Ryan's owners will be happy that he potted his sixth goal of the season, the poor play around him also resulted in a minus-2 rating. Ottawa's struggles have limited the 30-year-old sniper's value, as he's in danger of seeing his goal total drop for the second consecutive campaign after scoring 22 in 2015-16 and just 13 last year.
Yesterday 11:44 pm (EST)
Patrice Bergeron Headshot

Bergeron scored three goals -- one with the man advantage -- during Thursday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

The hat trick improves Bergeron to nine goals and five assists through his past eight games, and he's up to a high-end 2.96 points per 60 minutes for the campaign. Often more recognized for his two-way play, the 32-year-old center's production is in line with the top fantasy contributors in the league. Additionally, Bergeron's currently on pace to have a career-best offensive showing.
Yesterday 11:42 pm (EST)
Craig Anderson Headshot

Anderson allowed three goals on 36 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Blues.

Anderson got no help from the team in front of him, as the visitors held a 37-21 edge in shots, including an empty-netter after Anderson exited for an extra attacker late in the final frame. The 36-year-old netminder has allowed at least three goals in all but one of his past nine appearances and only has 12 wins in 33 appearances this season.
Yesterday 11:31 pm (EST)
Marcus Morris Headshot

Morris recorded 14 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes during an 89-80 loss to the 76ers on Thursday.

Morris played well off the bench in the loss, as the 14 points matched a team high and he knocked down a few triples. Despite the decent game, Morris' value is mostly limited to points, three-pointers and rebounds. Over the last three games, he's averaging 15.0 points on 47.1 percent shooting, 7.3 rebounds and 2.0 three-pointers per game.
Yesterday 11:22 pm (EST)
Marcus Smart Headshot

Smart provided 13 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist across 34 minutes during an 89-80 loss to the 76ers on Thursday.

Smart received the start with Kyrie Irving (shoulder) sidelined and received 34 minutes. He also scored in double figures for the fifth time in the last six outings. Smart has played decently lately, with averages of 12.6 points on 42.9 percent shooting, 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game across his last five games.
