H. Miska - G
Hunter Miska made 16 saves in Friday's 3-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes.
Miska allowed two goals on a total of 18 shots and finished the night with a .889 save percentage. The Coyotes did not put much offensive pressure on Miska for most of the game, and he was able to hold Arizona scoreless until the very end of this matchup. Both of the goals scored by the Coyotes came within the final two minutes of regulation. This victory was not only Miska's first win of the season, but it was also his first ever career win in the NHL.

N. Kadri - F
Nazem Kadri had a three-point night in Friday's 3-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes.
Kadri was a part of every Colorado goal in this matchup. He started off his night with two primary assists. He then went on to score the game-winning goal to seal the victory for the Avalanche. Kadri now has six goals and six assists on the year. He also now has goals in back-to-back games. Kadri has slightly struggled to maintain consistency in terms of point production so far this season. It is critical for him to find some momentum, and this could be the game that creates a positive shift in his season.

A. Hill - G
Adin Hill made 26 saves in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
Hill allowed three goals on 29 shots and finished the night with a .897 save percentage. This was only Hill's second appearance and first start of the season. Hill was the go-to netminder in this matchup due to Darcy Kuemper suffering from a lower-body injury. Kuemper's injury does not appear to be significant, so it is unlikely that Hill will see any major ice time going forward.

P. Kessel - F
Phil Kessel picked up two points in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
Kessel led the last ditch effort for the Coyotes as they attempted to make a comeback late in the game. By the midway point of the third Arizona was down 3-0. With under two minutes left, Kessel scored a goal to finally get the Coyotes on the scoreboard. He then picked up an assist just under a minute later. Kessel now has eight goals and eight assists this season. This performance extends Kessel's point streak to five straight games. It is clear that he is on a hot streak and if he can keep it up he will no doubt increase his fantasy value tremendously.

J. Quick - G
Jonathan Quick allowed three goals on 30 shots during Friday's 3-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild.
The Kings came into this game riding a six-game winning but that's over now. Minnesota totally dominated the opening period and that proved to be the difference on Friday night. Not only did the Wild out-shoot the Kings, 16-7, in the frame, they also beat Quick three times in 3:03. Quick owns a 5-3-2 record with a 2.85 goals-against-average and a .903 save percentage this season. Don't be surprised if the Kings cool off considerably over the next little while.

C. Talbot - G
Cam Talbot allowed one goal on 28 shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings.
Talbot nearly pitched a shutout, but Kings forward Jeff Carter scored a goal with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. This was the Wild goaltender's first night between the pipes since he was activated off the Covid-19 list and it went pretty well. He now has a 4-2-0 record with a 2.19 goals-against-average and a .926 save percentage in 2021.

J. Carter - F
Jeff Carter scored a goal in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild.
The Kings were nearly shut out, but Carter found the back of the net with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. He The 36-year-old has registered at least one point in six of his team's last seven outings. Carter finished the night with a plus-1 rating and two shots on goal in 18:34 of ice time. He has four goals and 12 points in 19 games this season. Andreas Athanasiou and Gabriel Vilardi picked up the assists on the Kings' only goal of the night.

K. Kaprizov - F
Kirill Kaprizov scored a goal in Friday's 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings.
Kaprizov opened the scoring at the 12:33 mark of the first period when he got his own rebound and buried a wraparound into the Kings net. The Wild went on to score two more goals before the end of the opening frame. The rookie finished the night with a plus-1 rating, one shot on goal and one hit in 18:15 of ice time. Kaprizov now has seven points during his four-game point streak. He's up to five goals and 11 assists in 17 contests in 2021. Nick Bjugstad and Joel Eriksson Ek also found the back of the net for the Wild on Friday night.
