Michal Neuvirth Headshot

Neuvirth saved 29 of 31 shots during Thursday's 3-2 overtime win against Toronto.

The Philadelphia backup has played well this year and sports a .924 save percentage and 2.35 GAA through 12 games. A leg injury cut into his action, and it's clear that Brian Elliott is the No. 1 starter, so Neuvirth's upside is currently limited. Still, based on his strong performance so far this season, the 29-year-old Czech is worth a look when given the starting nod.
12:29 am (EST)
Frederik Andersen Headshot

Andersen turned away 34 of 37 shots during Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to Philadelphia.

The Danish netminder has now lost four consecutive games and three have been in overtime. His 22-13-4 record, .922 save percentage and 2.67 GAA are still rock-solid marks in all fantasy settings, but the offensive support has been holding Andersen back of late. There's no reason to panic, but fantasy owners would love to see Toronto kick-start a winning streak sooner than later because Andersen is doing his part.
12:22 am (EST)
Joonas Korpisalo Headshot

Korpisalo stopped 35 of 36 shots and denied all three shootout attempts during Thursday's 2-1 win over Dallas.

This was an impressive showing from Korpisalo, and especially because it was his first NHL action since allowing five goals to the Lightning on Dec. 31. The Finnish backstop sports a mediocre .912 save percentage and 2.85 GAA for the campaign, but fantasy owners desperate for goaltending help should keep tabs on Korpisalo. He's a Sergei Bobrovsky injury away from a huge workload for a potential playoff team.
12:17 am (EST)
Ben Bishop Headshot

Bishop saved 25 of 26 shots during Thursday's 2-1 shootout loss to Columbus.

Dallas generally provides the needed offensive support for Bishop to collect a win when he goes 65 minutes and allows just a single goal. With Thursday's strong showing, the American now boasts a 20-12-3 record, .917 save percentage and 2.46 GAA for the campaign. Fantasy owners should continue to view Bishop as a solid option moving forward.
12:11 am (EST)
Anton Khudobin Headshot

Khudobin saved 22 of 24 shots during Thursday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

With a 10-2-4 record, .924 save percentage and 2.38 GAA for the campaign, Khudobin have proven to be an elite backup for the Bruins this season. Fantasy owners have also reaped the rewards of turning his way when he's been given the starting nod. Additionally, this might be the best version of the Bruins we've seen in a few years, so Khudobin projects to remain a solid start whenever he patrols the blue paint.
12:08 am (EST)
Brayden Schenn Headshot

Schenn picked up a goal and an assist in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Senators.

Schenn ended an 11-game goal drought in the second period, giving his team a 3-0 lead with his 18th marker of the season. He then raised his point total to 46 in 48 games with an assist on Alexander Steen's empty-netter in the third.
12:07 am (EST)
Alexander Steen Headshot

Steen scored an empty-net goal and added an assist in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Senators.

Steen has really come on of late, registering five goals and four assists in his past 11 games. This was his first multi-point effort in that stretch, however, and the first such performance since Dec. 9 for Steen overall. With 26 points and a minus-12 rating in 42 appearances, the 33-year-old forward has been a fringe contributor in most fantasy settings.
Yesterday 11:57 pm (EST)
Jaroslav Halak Headshot

Halak allowed four goals on 33 shots during Thursday's 5-2 loss to Boston.

This was another discouraging showing from Halak, as he's now allowed four goals or more in eight of his past nine outings. Until there is marked improvement, it's difficult to start him confidently. After all, the 32-year-old Czech sports a grotesque .905 save percentage and 3.25 GAA for the campaign.
Yesterday 11:56 pm (EST)
Brad Marchand Headshot

Marchand recorded a goal and two assists during Thursday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

Now up to five goals and nine assists through his past seven games, Marchand has improved to an elite 3.86 points per 60 minutes for the campaign. Those numbers have him positioned among the best scorers in the league, and his plus-21 rating is also gold in formats including the category. The Nova Scotia native continues to affirm that last season's 85-point showing was no fluke.
Yesterday 11:52 pm (EST)
Morgan Rielly Headshot

Per coach Mike Babcock, Rielly is being evaluated for an injury following Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flyers, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.

Rielly appeared to be in some pain when he exited Thursday's loss towards the end of the second period, but he was able to return for the third period and finish the game, albeit in a somewhat limited fashion. The Maple Leafs should release another update on the 23-year-old blueliner's status ahead of Saturday's matchup with Ottawa.
