“The biggest thing is the defensive versatility and athleticism that Aaron brings,” head coach Michael Malone said during a recent interview. “Even if he gets beat [on the perimeter], he has the size, strength and length to get back into the play and make it tough for them.” Since joining the team, the Nuggets have gone 6-0 and AG has posted averages of 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.8 swats and just 1.2 turnovers per contest on 60.8% shooting from the field and 64.2% from the stripe.

Juan Toscano-Anderson has been diagnosed with a concussion after crashing over the scorers table during Saturday's game.

JTA needed stitches in his head and now that he's in the league's strict concussion protocol, it seems unlikely he'll be cleared in time for Monday's game vs. the Sixers. If he misses time the short-handed Warriors will need to go small by necessity, though they could at least get Eric Paschall (hip) back after their current road trip.

Melton has been out for nearly two weeks now, missing eight games as a result. His next chance to play is Monday night when the Grizzlies take on the Nuggets. In Melton's absence the three-man rotation at the off-guard spot is down to two, with Grayson Allen starting and Desmond Bane coming off the bench. Allen is definitely worthy of a look in deep leagues, as he has been a top-100 player in 9-cat over the last month.

Khris Middleton recorded a line of 16 points (5-of-13 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes during Saturday's loss to the Grizzlies.

The 10 assists are the most that Middleton has dished out in a game since February 10, when he racked up 11 in a loss to the Suns. For the season he's averaging a career-best 5.5 assists per game, and that is part of the reason why Middleton has been a top-50 player in both 8- and 9-cat formats. The Bucks will play four games in each of the next two weeks and, at first glance, that's good news for those who have Middleton rostered. But the Bucks also have a back-to-back in each of those two weeks, which could mean a night off for Middleton at some point.

Shooting 4-of-9 from three, Brook Lopez finished Saturday's loss to the Grizzlies with 17 points (5-of-13 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds and one blocked shot in 29 minutes.

Lopez has scored 16 points or more in five of the eight games that he's appeared in this month, with the three exceptions all being nine-point outings. Over his last three, he's shot a combined 9-of-19 from beyond the arc, while averaging 18.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per. Rostered in 77% of Yahoo leagues, Lopez has hovered around the top-100 all season long. That being said he will have his work cut out for him next week, as the Bucks play Philadelphia (Joel Embiid) twice and Atlanta (Clint Capela) once.

After beginning April on a bit of a hot streak, shooting 60% or better in three straight games, Holiday has shot less than 50% in four of his last five. That being said, he has made up for the lower field goal percentage by racking up the assists. Holiday has accumulated seven assists in three of his last five games, and for the month he's averaging nearly seven per. Over the last month, Holiday is providing first-round value in both 8- and 9-cat formats.

Giannis Antetokounmpo shot 10-of-18 from the field and 8-of-12 from the foul line in Saturday's loss to the Grizzlies, tallying 28 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists in 29 minutes.

After posting a modest (by his lofty standards) line in Thursday's win over the Hawks, Antetokounmpo took another step in the right direction Saturday night. He finished two assists shy of a triple-double, while shooting better than 55% from the field for a fourth consecutive game. Antetokounmpo still isn't taking on his usual workload when it comes to minutes, but he's getting there. The Bucks play four times next week, but included in that is a Saturday/Sunday back-to-back against the 76ers and Hawks. We'll have to wait and see if Giannis is able (or allowed) to play in both ends.

Making his second straight start, Bryn Forbes finished Saturday's loss to the Grizzlies with 19 points (7-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

After scoring nine points with minimal impact during Thursday's win over the Hawks, Forbes was more productive Saturday night. He has scored 13 points or more in four of Milwaukee's last five games. Unfortunately, Forbes' fantasy value depends largely upon the availability of Donte DiVincenzo. Once DiVincenzo is cleared to return, Forbes will move back to the bench, and that will do him no favors as far as fantasy value is concerned.

Gorgui Dieng (sprained right shoulder) scored five points with eight rebounds, three assists and a block in 17 minutes on Saturday.

Dieng technically returned from a four-game stint on Friday but picked up a healthy DNP-CD. Then he got a double-technical tonight and was ejected in the final minute. Go figure. The Spurs rested Jakob Poeltl tonight, which bumped Drew Eubanks into the starting five and opened up reserve center minutes, so Dieng at least got on the court. That's all there is to the story.

Two of his makes were from downtown and he had one assist without coughing it up tonight. He's been an unlikely late-round option in recent weeks, but it's quiet across-the-board value only a deep-league 9-cat manager can love.

Drew Eubanks shot 6-of-6 from the field for 13 points on Saturday, adding a career-high 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 28 minutes as a starter.

Jakob Poeltl (rest) was out and that gave Eubanks all the daylight he needed. The start was a one-off with Poeltl getting a breather in the second of back-to-back games, but Eubanks has been playing well in a backup-center role. “We pretty much always like the minutes we get from Drew,” Gregg Popovich said. Eubanks prefers to keep the game simple, saying, "My main focus is trying to set screens, roll, rebound, defend, block shots and dunk the ball." Teammate DeMar DeRozan had the most memorable quote: "[Eubanks] reminds me of a guy riding a mechanical bull." This game gets fantasy managers' attention, but with Poeltl back on Monday there may be no carry-over value.

Spurs rookie Devin Vassell lit up the Suns for a career-high 18 points on Saturday, connecting on 7-of-9 shots with a 4-of-6 mark from deep in 25 minutes

He filled out Saturday's line with three rebounds, two assists and a career-high two blocks. The Spurs romped to a 111-85 win and Vassell benefited from both garbage time and the absence of Patty Mills (rest). It's nice to see his scoring swagger when given some space, and his penchant for steals and microscopic turnover rate makes him a guy to remember long-term.

Keldon Johnson chipped in 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting during Saturday's blowout road win in Phoenix, but he added just one rebound, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes.

Johnson's minutes have been admirably consistent lately, with between 24-29 in eight straight games. That hasn't quite been enough for him to cobble together 12-team fantasy value, with low scoring (10.5) barely supported by scanty assists (1.4) steals (0.6) and blocks (0.4). Tonight marked his fewest rebounds since he was blanked on Mar. 14, and even his typical 6.5 boards per game aren't going to win you a category.
