An afterthought in the Pistons rotation for much of this season, Doumbouya’s playing time has increased over the last week. The second-year forward has played 23 minutes in two of the last four games, and he hit double figures in both of those outings. Doumbouya’s improved play has caught the eye of his head coach, who gave a simple answer prior to Saturday’s game when asked about the increase in playing time. "He's earning it and he's playing well,” Casey said. “A lot of it is the seriousness of his approach to the game. He's put in the extra work, and it's showing." Doumbouya isn’t all that valuable as a fantasy option right now, but if Jerami Grant is given more days off later this season, he would be worth a look.

In 21 minutes off the bench, Frank Jackson tallied 17 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Blazers.

Jackson has now hit double figures in three of Detroit’s last four games and, to the surprise of many, has managed to carve out a spot for himself in the Pistons rotation. Following Saturday’s game, Dwane Casey spoke highly of Jackson’s recent play. "He's full of energy, confidence and he fits. He fits with our team,” Casey said. Jackson may be limited to about 20 minutes or so per game, which does him no favors as far as fantasy value is concerned. So even with Saturday’s effort, he can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.

After struggling in Thursday’s win over the Kings, Jackson had a better night, albeit in a losing effort. The 21 points are the most that he’s scored in five games, when he dropped a season-high 31 points on the Wizards. With Wayne Ellington still sidelined, Jackson won’t lack for opportunities as a starter, and he took advantage of the opportunity Saturday night. However, the task will be considerably more difficult on Sunday, as the Pistons are scheduled to visit the Clippers.

Tate didn’t have his best night, especially when it comes to scoring, but he continues to make contributions in all areas for the Rockets. Well off the fantasy radar when the season began, he’s approaching top-100 value and is rostered in 54% of Yahoo leagues. And he shouldn’t be in any danger of being held out of games as the regular season approaches its conclusion, which is good news when it comes to the fantasy playoffs. If Tate is still on your league’s waiver wire, it would be wise to pick him up.

D.J. Augustin made the most of his 22 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Warriors, accumulating 19 points (5-of-9 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, six assists and three 3-pointers.

Augustin is rostered in just 2% of Yahoo leagues and with good reason, as he’s behind both John Wall and Kevin Porter Jr. in the pecking order at the point. But he’s capable of putting up quality lines on occasion, as he did Saturday night. Augustin would be worth streaming on nights when Wall rests, but that represents his fantasy ceiling at this point.

John Wall finished Saturday’s loss to the Warriors with 30 points (11-of-19 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Wall was back in the lineup after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Clippers, and he had one of his better games of the season. While he did turn the ball over six times, the overall line should please those who have Wall rostered. That being said, his return means less time on the ball for Kevin Porter Jr., and the second-year guard did not have much of an impact on Saturday game. KPJ played 33 minutes, finishing with nine points (4-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer. Houston plays four games next week without a back-to-back, which is good news for Wall and those who have him rostered. But Porter Jr. may take a hit as a result.

Andrew Wiggins finished Saturday’s win over the Rockets with 25 points (11-of-21 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

The 25 points are the most that Wiggins has scored in a game since March 26, when he had 29 in a loss to the Hawks. And he has shot 50% or better from the field in four of his last five, with the lone exception being a 4-of-15 effort in Tuesday’s win over the Bucks. So long as Stephen Curry (38/8/5/1 with eight 3-pointers in 35 minutes) is on the court, Wiggins won’t lack for room to operate on the offensive end of the floor. And if he can take advantage of those opportunities on a consistent basis, his fantasy value will increase. Rostered in 91% of Yahoo leagues, Wiggins sits just outside of the top-100 in 9-cat formats.

Over the last two weeks, Poole has alternated stellar outings with poor performances. Based upon that trend, we should have known that he was going to go off after failing to score in Friday’s loss to the Wizards. The 21 points are the most that Poole has scored in a game since March 20, when he dropped 26 points on the Grizzlies. Even though he didn’t start, Poole’s fantasy value will increase with Kelly Oubre (left wrist) sidelined. Poole is currently rostered in 10% of Yahoo leagues, and he’s worth rolling the dice on, especially in deep leagues.

Bazemore started for the injured Kelly Oubre, who suffered a sprained left wrist during Friday’s loss to the Wizards. While the production wasn’t enough to fully justify streaming Bazemore on this night, he did manage to post a full stat line as the Warriors rebounded from a frustrating defeat. Oubre is without a timeline, so this may not be the end of Bazemore’s time in the starting five. And if that turns out to be the case, he would be worth picking up in deep leagues.

Curry has now scored 30 or more in each of his last six games, and he’s made five or more 3-pointers in five of them. With Kelly Oubre (left wrist) sidelined Curry will have a new partner to share the backcourt with, and on Saturday, that person was Kent Bazemore. This means that Curry will be the focus of even more attention from opposing defenses, if that’s possible. But as we saw Saturday night, as Curry scored 20 straight points during the third quarter, he can be practically unstoppable no matter what the opposition tries to do.
