After missing Sunday’s game due to back spasms, Young showed no signs of rust in the win over the shorthanded Clippers. He scored 14 of his points during the third quarter, a stanza in which Atlanta outscored the Clippers by 11 (33-22). The lone negative for Young in this one was the right ankle sprain that he suffered during the fourth quarter. He was able to stay in the game, but that’s something to keep an eye on as the Hawks host the Nets Wednesday night.

He added three rebounds, two assists and a steal in what was his first start since Feb. 12. It was also his first double-digit scoring game since Feb. 10 and just his third of the month. Okogie is only shooting 30% from the floor and 25% from deep over the past four weeks as it’s been a rough year for him. Maybe the All-Star break will give him a chance to regroup and have a better second half of the season.

Neto suffered the injury during the fourth quarter, and there were only a couple minutes remaining in the game when it was announced that he would not return. With Ish Smith out due to injury, the Wizards would be down both of their backup point guards if Neto were to miss any additional time. Washington will return to action Tuesday night against the Grizzlies. Neto finished the game with three points (1-of-6 FGs), two rebounds, six assists and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.

Gibson sprained his ankle during the first quarter, and while he was initially able to play through the injury he was eventually removed from the game.
