Folk hero Kumerow made six 2020 appearances, catching precisely one pass for one of the league's deeper receiver corps. Naturally, it was a 22-yard touchdown. Kumerow has hinted at big-play bonafides for years, but one month shy of his 29th birthday, his NFL door is about closed.

ESPN's Brooke Pryor reports the Steelers are "unlikely" to re-sign James Conner.

With the team (probably) letting Pittsburgh favorite Conner walk about four seasons, Pryor said the team could fill their RB1 spot with an early-round pick in this spring's NFL Draft. Conner, who will be 26 in May, should have multiple suitors this offseason. Probably he won't be anyone's idea of a locked-in No. 1 running back though. Taking a back in the first round would be a departure from how the team usually conducts its drafts. The Steelers have used their past seven first-round picks on defensive players, including five linebackers.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Titans DL Jadeveon Clowney should be fully recovered from meniscus surgery by April.

"He’s close to be ready now, but it could delay his signing with a new team for a few weeks," Rapoport added. The Titans paid Clowney $15 million on a one-year deal only to see him fail to record a single sack in eight games. Now a free agent, Clowney is unlikely to re-sign with Tennessee, though he said in February that he would be open to returning to the Titans. The veteran will likely sign a one-year, incentive-laden deal with another team this offseason.

Spence, 27, missed the 2020 season with an ACL injury he suffered in May. The ex-Bucs second-round bust made seven appearances for the Saints in 2019. Spence's base salary will be the veteran minimum of $990,000. He'll count for $850,000 against the salary cap in 2021.

Jacksonville had one of the league's worst tight end groups in 2020. Tyler Eifert is expected to leave via free agency, leaving the team without a viable starting tight end. Henry, 26, should see interest from several teams once free agency kicks off in a couple weeks. If Henry can stay healthy for 16 games -- a big if -- he could be a coveted fantasy option in the Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence-led offense.

With Keelan Cole, Dede Westbrook, and Chris Conley likely gone in 2021, Urban Meyer's team could bolster its receiver group in free agency. While it's unclear if the Jaguars -- who have the most cap space of any NFL team this offseason -- are in the market for a top-tier wideout, it would be an upset if the team didn't add a receiver or two in the coming months. Depending on who they add, DJ Chark and Laviska Shenault should be decent value picks in best ball drafts this spring and summer.

ESPN's Cameron Wolfe reports it would be "a shock if the Dolphins don't come away with a new feature back this offseason."

Wolfe said Alabama's Najee Harris and North Carolin's Javonte Williams would be "tantalizing" options for the Dolphins, who have the No. 3 and No. 18 picks in the spring's NFL Draft. Miami could also pursue a potential feature back in free agency. The Dolphins have been linked to free-agent-to-be Aaron Jones, and Wolfe mentioned Leonard Fournette and Le'Veon Bell as potential veterans who would pair with a rookie back. Gaskin, who acquitted himself nicely as a starter in 2020 -- averaging 87.6 total yards per game in five early-season starts -- is looking more like a depth option in 2021.

ESPN's Jamison Hensley reports the "expectation is Baltimore won’t pursue a No. 1 wide receiver like Allen Robinson or Kenny Golladay."

For fantasy purposes, Golladay and Robinson avoiding the Ravens is certainly for the best. The team's low-volume passing offense wouldn't offer the sort of opportunity that has made Golladay and Robinson consistent fantasy producers. In 2020, Ravens receivers ranked last in catches (137) and receiving yards (1,729). Hensley said Baltimore could pursue "one or two wide receivers from the second tier" -- wideouts like Sammy Watkins, A.J. Green, and Corey Davis. Dez Bryant and Willie Snead aren't expected back for the Ravens in 2021.

Smith, expected to be released by Washington this week, could reunite with Matt Nagy in Chicago. Nagy, of course, coached Smith in Kansas City, where Nagy served first as quarterbacks coach, then as offensive coordinator from 2016-2017. The Bears would offer one of Smith's only chances to start in 2021. Jacksonville has been mentioned as a potential fit for Smith, who was coached by Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer at Utah.

Skrine, 32 next month, spent two seasons in Chicago, appearing in 28-of-32 games as the team's nickel corner following Bryce Callahan's departure to Denver. He had one year left on his deal, and the Bears will eat $3.3 million in dead cap space. Skrine hasn't picked off a pass since 2017 and is a run-of-the-mill slot cover man.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports Leonard Williams' grievance over his position label with the NFLPA remains unresolved.

It's an impactful ruling for the entire league since the franchise tag for DEs would jump from $16.1 million to $17.8 million if Williams, eyeing a potential second consecutive tag, wins his case. Otherwise he'd remain labeled a DT and earn significantly less money in 2021. Those numbers would obviously matter immediately since the Giants are still reportedly trying to ink the 26-year-old to a long-term deal. Williams' play under first-year DC Patrick Graham resulted in a team- and career-high number of sacks (11.5), likely keeping the former in New York for $17-$20 million annually.
