Armia started out this season in a bit of a slump, as prior to this game he had only one point in four games. However, tonight the tables turned, as he picked up two goals and two assists. Armia picked up the primary assist on the first goal of the game, scored by Tyler Toffoli under two minutes into the first. Four minutes later Armia picked up a goal of his own, his first one of the season. Armia started off the second period with another assist, and then ended that period with his second goal of the night. It was a great performance in his 300th career game, but unfortunately Armia exited the game towards the end after a high hit by Vancouver’s Tyler Myers and did not return.

Oskar Sundqvist scored his third goal of the season in Wednesday's 2-1 home loss against the Los Angeles Kings.

Down 2-0, the Blues pulled Jordan Binnington for the extra attacker. At 18:14 of the third, Sundqvist struck to slice the lead to 2-1 against Cal Petersen to make things interesting. Unfortunately for the Blues, that's as close as they could get. Sundqvist ended up with a plus-1 rating, two shots on goal and a pair of hits in his 18:59 of ice time across 16 shifts, and he lost all but one of his nine faceoff attempts. Sundqvist remains useful only in deeper fantasy pools at the moment.

Jordan Binnington allowed two goals on 20 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 home loss against the Los Angeles Kings.

Binnington exchanged donuts with Cal Petersen in the first period before coughing up two goals to Alex Iafallo and Andreas Athanasiou in the second. Oskar Sundqvist scored with an extra attacker late in the third to make things interesting, but that's as close as the Blues could get. Binnington slipped to 8-6-2 with a 2.49 goals-against average and .914 save percentage in his 16 starts this season. The Blues are off until Saturday in San Jose.

Andreas Athanasiou scored his fourth goal of the season in Wednesday's 2-1 road win against the St. Louis Blues.

Athanasiou scored at 16:08 of the second period to make it 2-0. Oskar Sundqvist scored at 18:14 of the third period with an extra attacker, slicing the lead to 2-1, and that's how it finished. As a result, Athanasiou was credited with the game-winning tally. He finished with a plus-1 rating, three shots on goal and a minor penalty in his 10:51 of ice time across 14 shifts. Athanasiou remains useful in deeper fantasy pools heading into Friday's game in Minnesota. He has two goals and three points with a plus-3 rating in three games against the Wild this season.

Cal Petersen allowed just one goal on 36 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 road win against the St. Louis Blues.

Petersen was staked to a 2-0 lead after two periods, and the only goal he allowed was an even-strength goal to Oskar Sundqvist with 1:46 remaining in regulation, as the Blues scored with the extra attacker to make it interesting. It also crushed fantasy managers and DFS players, as Petersen was that close to a shutout. He leveled his record at 4-4-1 with a 2.28 goals-against average and .931 save percentage through nine starts and 10 appearances. Petersen and Jonathan Quick are playing well lately, and are essentially in a timeshare situation which is working.

Kessel posted a plus-2 rating, two shots on goal and a blocked shot in 20:28 of ice time across 26 shifts. Kessel has followed up a four-game scoreless skid with three goals, six points and a plus-2 rating during his current four-game point streak. Kessel has run hot and cold all season. He'll look to push his point streak to five games in Friday's home game against the Colorado Avalanche.

Garland ended up with a plus-1 rating, a shot on goal and a blocked shot in his 21:24 of ice time across 26 shifts. Garland was also one of two scorers in the shootout against Ryan Miller, leading the Coyotes to the win in the extra session. After registering three goals and seven points in eight games in January, Garland has picked up four goals, 11 points and a plus-5 rating in 11 games in the month of February. Hill entered the game early in the third period after Darcy Kuemper left with an apparent lower-body injury. He was sharp in the third period, and he allowed just one goal to Trevor Zegras in the shootout while Conor Garland and Christian Dvorak scored in the extra session to give Hill a much-deserved victory. After the game, head coach Rick Tocchet said he expected Kuemper to be fine, but Hill could potentially draw a start if Kuemper needs some time to rest. DFS players will be especially interested in this on Friday against the Avalanche.

Darcy Kuemper left Wednesday's start against the Anaheim Ducks in the third period due to a lower-body injury.

Kuemper allowed three goals on 21 shots before suffering an apparent lower-body injury while going down to make a save. Head coach Rick Tocchet said after the game that he thinks Kuemper will be fine, and that's a big sigh of relief for Coyotes fans and fantasy managers. Adin Hill came on in relief and stopped all 14 shots he faced before picking up the victory in a shootout. If you're in a daily league, reserve Kuemper until he can officially return and prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.

Max Comtois posted a goal with an assist in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss against the Arizona Coyotes.

Comtois ended up with a plus-1 rating and two shots on goal in 15:25 of ice time across 23 shifts while winning his only faceoff opportunity. The leading scorer for the Ducks has eight goals and 13 points, four more than any other player on the roster. He has registered five goals and nine points across his past nine outings, too. As long as he is operating a point-per-game pace, he is a solid fantasy option and DFS play. The Ducks are scheduled to play Saturday night against Vegas.

Miller was staked to a 3-0 lead, as Max Comtois, Josh Mahura and Max Jones (power play) provided the offensive support through two periods. Miller has a shutout until 10:05 of the third period when Tyler Pitlick scored, and Jakob Chychrun notched a marker at 11:49 to slice the lead to 3-2. Phil Kessel completed the comeback at 16:39, making it 3-3 and forcing overtime. There was no score in overtime, but Miller coughed up goals to Conor Garland and Christian Dvorak to lose in the shootout.

Kadri has managed five goals and nine points across his 16 outings, but he also has a dismal minus-11 rating, which is a bit surprising considering the Avalanche are 9-6-1 with a plus-8 goal differential overall.
