Carter-Williams hasn't played since January 4th but participated in non-contact practice drills and looks closer to returning. MCW isn't a strong fantasy play, and will likely be a backup to rookie Cole Anthony.

Gibson isn't with the team on their current road trip. He could play Thursday vs. the Pistons, but it makes more sense for the veteran to sit out through the break and get completely healthy. Obi Toppin is picking up extra minutes in Gibson's absence, but he's not producing any fantasy value a bit of extra run.

Pacers coach Nate Bjorkgren expects Jeremy Lamb (left knee soreness) to play vs. the Cavs on Wednesday.

Lamb missed Monday's loss to Philly but it sounds like the Pacers were just being cautious, especially since the soreness is affecting Lamb's surgically-repaired knee. Despite playing a mere 23.0 minutes over the past month, Lamb's extreme efficiency and trickle of defensive stats have allowed him to hang onto top-100 value in 9-cat leagues.

Doc Rivers was asked whether Harris could play in Philly's final game before the All-Star break, and he was optimistic. "I hope so,” he said. “He really tried to play [Monday], but we more made the call tonight. We need him, hopefully, we can get him back next game.” We'll have a better feel for his status after shootaround but if he can't suit up it'll be Mike Scott and Furkan Korkmaz filling in without offering much fantasy upside.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (right knee avulsion fracture) is expected to play on Tuesday with a minute-limit.

Bogdanovic has been out nearly two months and fantasy managers should keep expectations low prior to the All-Star break, since he'll likely be scraping off rust in limited minutes off the bench. He's worth a speculative add if you need points and 3-pointers, but be mindful that his pre-injury averages weren't great -- 9.9 points on 38.5% shooting, 2.3 triples, 3.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 0.4 steals. His return may cut into Kevin Huerter's minutes, though there should still be enough to go around with De'Andre Hunter (right knee) and Cam Reddish (right Achilles) out of commission.

Wolves coach Chris Finch said his decision to play Jake Layman ahead of promising rookie Jaden McDaniels is "just trying some other things."

"[O]ne thing we need out there is a little bit more ball skill, somebody that can put the ball on the deck or maybe a little more experience with Jake," Finch said. "I thought he was good tonight for us." Layman is chipping in 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks in just 15.0 minutes this season, but at the moment neither he nor McDaniels are helping fantasy managers. If you're placing rest-of-season bets in a deep league, target the rookie on a team with the league's worst record.

Ricky Rubio said the Wolves' 7-28 record is partially due to bad habits and repeated mistakes, adding, "I don’t feel like this is building something."

“We have to build good habits from day one, and I don’t think we are in the right way, to be honest,” Rubio said. "We got to start wanting to change something, and it’s not happening ... We only had one practice. Emotion, road trip, changing coach, change a lot of things, and I think we’re not figuring it out." Rubio had a good relationship with fired coach Ryan Saunders and he's increasingly out of place as a veteran on a rebuilding team, but so far he's continued to start under new head coach Chris Finch. His rest-of-season outlook is tenuous, though, and the backcourt will eventually get crowded when Malik Beasley (suspension) and D'Angelo Russell (left knee) return to the mix.

Carmelo Anthony was feeling it on Monday and hit 10-of-19 shots, a season-high six 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 29 points, three rebounds, two assists, a season-high five steals and two blocks in Monday's 123-111 win over the Hornets.

The steals may have been a fluke, although he did have a four-steal game on Feb. 17 against the Wizards, and he was shooting the ball with confidence from all over the court tonight. And with the Blazers playing three times this week when most teams only play twice, he was in a lot of fantasy lineups tonight. Hopefully, yours was one of them. His late 3-pointer broke the franchise record for 3-pointers in a game as the Blazers combined to hit 24 of them tonight. Damian Lillard also hit six triples, Robert Covington hit five of them, Gary Trent Jr., Naz Little and Rodney Hood each hit a pair, and Derrick Jones Jr. had one on their way to the record.

This is not the game we were looking for out of DJJ tonight, but the Blazers have two more games this week so he has plenty of time to make up for it. Just hang in there with him and hope he lives up to the hype in the next two. We think he will.

Robert Covington hit 8-of-11 shots and 5-of-7 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 21 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 38 minutes of Monday's 123-111 win over the Hornets.

We told you to hang onto him and while he hasn't been a great points-league guy for most of the season, he's come through in head-to-head leagues over the last month and is only getting better. He didn't miss a shot until the second half of tonight's game and he was all over the court, helping the Blazers set a franchise record with 24 3-pointers tonight. He averaged just 8.1 points in February, but also averaged 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.6 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers and his March is off to an amazing start after tonight's line. Now we just have to hope he keeps it going the rest of the way.

Malik Monk came off the bench and hit 7-of-13 shots and three 3-pointers for 19 points, two rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes of Monday's loss to the Blazers.

He didn't fill the stat sheet tonight but was still effective and has now scored at least 19 points in five straight games and in six of his last seven. He'll likely take a hit once Devonte' Graham is back after the break, but he's playing well enough right now to be rostered in all leagues.

Terry Rozier hit 8-of-17 shots and three 3-pointers for 20 points, two rebounds, six assists and four steals in 35 minutes of Monday's loss to the Blazers.

Rozier hit just 2-of-9 shots for eight points, four boards and four assists on Sunday but was back to form tonight. He'll eventually take a bit of a hit once Devonte' Graham is back from his injury, but Rozier and LaMelo Ball should be the starting backcourt for the Hornets for the rest of the season, barring a move out of left field by the Hornets coaching staff after the All-Star break.

LaMelo Ball hit 10-of-18 shots, five 3-pointers and 5-of-6 free throws for 30 points, six rebounds, eight assists, four steals, a block and just three turnovers in 32 minutes of Monday's 123-111 loss to the Blazers on Monday.

LaMelo is the runaway favorite for Rookie of the Year thus far and while a deep dive into the numbers might suggest Tyrese Haliburton is basically even with him in the running, LaMelo gets all the hype and has the name recognition. If he doesn't win the Rookie of the Year Award it would be a shocking upset. This was just his second 30-point game of his young career but he's been rolling all season and is averaging 23.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.8 3-pointers over his last five games.
