Prugh has been added to the Valspar Championship field as an alternate after J.J. Spaun (undisclosed) withdrew, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Prugh hasn't finished higher than tied for 33rd in a tournament this season and has missed the cut in six of his last eight. Heading to a Copperhead Course that features five par 3s and rather narrow fairways, Prugh's strength, his length off the tee (36th on tour in driving distance), may not play up this week either.

Spaun (undisclosed) has withdrawn from the Valspar Championship, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Spaun withdrew from The PLAYERS Championship after the first round last week for an unspecified reason, so his withdrawal from the field this week shouldn't come as much of a shock. He hadn't been playing particularly well in tournaments prior to that, missing the cut at three of his last five tournaments. Spaun doesn't dominate in any particular area of his game, but he has hit 70.96 of greens in regulation (35th on tour), which has helped him to a pair of top-10 finishes.

Stefani will be in the field for this week's Valspar Championship, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Stefani earned a spot in the field following Sean O'Hair's (undisclosed) decision to withdraw Tuesday, so the former will make his first start since a missed cut at the Honda Classic. Prior to his early exit at the Honda, however, Stefani posted a T6 in Puerto Rico.

O'Hair has withdrawn his name from the field for this week's Valspar Championship due to an undisclosed reason, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
O'Hair also withdrew prior to his last expected start at the Honda Classic, so he's still not quite ready to return from whatever issue forced him to exit the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am prematurely in February. The winner of the 2008 Valspar Championship has fallen outside of the top-200 in the Official World Golf Ranking, and will be replaced in the field by Shawn Stefani this week.

Bae tied for first at Monday's open qualifier for the Valspar Championship, earning a spot in this week's field at Innisbrook as a result, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Bae was forced to Monday qualify for the Valspar after running out of starts on his Major Medical Extension, having missed the cut in back-to-back starts at the Puerto Rico and Genesis Opens. He won the Web.com Tour's Albertsons Boise Open last September, but has struggled ever since.

Marino (undisclosed) will join the field for this week's after firing a five-under 67 in the event's Monday qualifier, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Marino came out on top of a 3-for-1 playoff for the final spot in this week's field at Innisbrook, so he'll make his first appearance at the PGA Tour level since the Desert Classic in January. Marino no longer has status on Tour after failing to take advantage of a Major Medical Extension, so his past two starts have come on the Web.com Tour. He finished T15-T18 at the Panama Championship and Country Club de Bogota Championship.
