Semyon Der-Arguchintsev suffered a knee injury on November 29 in KHL action.
The Maple Leafs third round pick in 2018, Der-Arguchintsev was loaned to Torpedo of the KHL near the end of October and had a goal and five points in 10 games before the injury. It appears that he suffered a bone bruise and it will likely keep him out of action for four weeks. “At the end of the day I was still happy with my team here and I was happy to play some hockey,” said Der-Arguchintsev. “My coaches put me in the ice a lot in situations where I could be successful. During the games, I tried to shoot the puck more and tried to get into the middle of the ice (more) than I did in the OHL.” SDA had 12 goals and 75 points for the Peterborough Petes of the OHL. Der-Arguchintsev likely will see action in the AHL should the league play this season. Dec 15 11:11 am (EST)
