Antoine Roussel is open to the idea of the NHL having an all-Canadian division this year.

The Canadian government isn't allowing visitors coming from the United States into the country without quarantining for up to two weeks. So, all seven Canadian teams may just have to face each other a lot in 2020-21. "If it's the only way we can play, I'd say yes right away," Canucks forward Antoine Roussel said (quotes have been translated). "But we don't have any answers yet. We don't have any control over those decisions. We're missing answers right now. Even the NHL doesn't have the answers. We don't want to start the season too late, especially because the summer Olympics will be taking place in Tokyo in 2021 and the NHL doesn't want to play in the summer. The players don't want to lose an entire season." The league is trying to put off a decision for as long as they can because they're trying to make sure fans can get into the buildings for games. The issue is that there's no guarantee that will happen at any point in 2021.  Oct 28 9:59 pm (EST)
