Evan Fournier will pick up his $17.0 million player option for the 2020-21 season.
Fournier was unlikely to command a higher annual salary as a free agent. Instead, he'll try to parlay a strong season into a long-term deal next offseason. If he stays healthy and the league's salary cap rises, it could prove to be a lucrative decision for Fournier. For the 2020-21 season, expect him to reprise his role with top-100 value as Orlando's second or third option offensively. Nov 15 8:32 pm (EST)
