M. King - RP
Although he fanned six, Mike King gave up five runs in 2 2/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Blue Jays.
King hasn't pitched more than four innings in any of his starts for the Yankees. He's 1-2 with a 7.76 ERA in four starts and five relief appearances.

R. Grichuk - CF
Randal Grichuk went 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and a walk against the Yankees on Monday.
It's been a very quiet September for Grichuk after a great August. The homer tonight was his 10th of the year, but his first since Aug. 28. Oddly enough, all 10 of his homers have come against AL East teams. He's hitting .161/.213/.179 in 16 games against the NL East.

H. Ynoa - RP
Huascar Ynoa was pulled from his start Monday night against the Marlins due to a crack in the nail of his right middle finger.
Ynoa allowed three runs over three innings, but he was only at 54 pitches when he exited before the top of the fourth. It's not expected to affect his availability for this weekend's series against the Red Sox.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. tripled, doubled twice, drove in three runs and walked versus the Yankees on Monday.
It's the second time in his career that Guerrero has had three extra-base hits in a game; he also did it in a two-homer game Aug. 1, 2019. He still hasn't gotten hot at any point this year and it might not happen with six days to go, but his Statcast numbers are better than they were in his rookie campaign. He's still on the right path to stardom.

Luis Castillo limited the Brewers to one run in 6 2/3 innings and fanned nine in a 6-3 victory Monday.
Castillo came into September with an 0-5 record, but he's won four in a row now, allowing just four runs in the process. His ERA is down to 2.86, and he has an 85/24 K/BB ratio in 66 innings. The easy Central schedule has helped a bunch, but he's still throwing about as well as any NL pitcher at the moment. The 27-year-old right-hander will wrap up the regular season with a matchup against the Twins this weekend.

Brandon Woodruff allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings and struck out nine in a loss to the Reds on Monday.
Woodruff has just two wins despite allowing three earned runs or fewer in 11 of his 12 starts. Milwaukee's offense has been disappointing since day one this year, but the Brewers are still doing especially bad with their ace on the mound; they've averaged 2.67 runs in his outings.

Mike Moustakas had a three-run homer, a double and a walk Monday against the Brewers.
The homer was his sixth of the year. Moustakas is batting just .218 and hasn't impressed defensively at second base, so year one of his four-year, $64 million deal has been mostly a bust. It's not over yet, though.

A. Riley - 3B
Austin Riley doubled and drove in a pair of runs on Monday, leading the Braves to a 5-4 victory over the visiting Marlins.
The Braves fell behind 3-0 in the opening inning, then roared back with four of their own in the home half -- the final two coming on Riley's two-run double off of Trevor Rogers. It was his lone hit in four at-bats on the night. For the season, the 23-year-old is now hitting .239/.296/.422 with eight homers and 26 RBI.
