J. Choi - 1B
Choi was removed from Friday's game against the Blue Jays due to a sore left knee, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Choi went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored prior to leaving the game with a knee issue. He'll be considered day-to-day until more information on his availability is revealed.

K. Wong - 2B
Wong was removed from Friday's game against the Giants because of cramping.
Given the nature of the issue, Wong shouldn't be forced to miss much if any time. He'll be considered day-to-day heading into Saturday's contest.

W. Chen - SP
Chen struck out eight in seven scoreless innings Friday against the Reds, allowing three hits and no walks in a no-decision.
Chen had a fantastic outing Friday but was locked in a pitcher's duel against the Reds' Luis Castillo. Since the beginning of August, Chen has gone 3-3 with a 2.53 ERA in eight starts, recording 48 strikeouts in 46.1 innings. The left-hander sports a 4.66 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in 25 starts on the year. He'll take on the Nationals in his next start in Washington.

L. Castillo - SP
Castillo struck out five in 8.1 scoreless innings Friday against the Marlins, allowing five hits and one walk in a no-decision.
Castillo was outstanding in Friday's outing, allowing just one extra-base hit while throwing 73 of 102 pitches for strikes. In his last 10 starts, Castillo has thrown six quality starts and three of those have been scoreless outings. On the season the young right-hander has a 4.30 ERA and 1.22 WHIP to go along with a 165:49 K:BB in 169.2 innings. His next scheduled start will be a matchup with the Pirates at home.

R. Núñez - 3B
Nunez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Friday's 8-10 loss to the Yankees.
Nunez went deep in the eighth inning to cut the deficit to three, but New York would escape with a two-run victory. The 24-year-old is slashing .243/.307/.386 through 65 games with the regular season winding down.

D. Betances - RP
Betances logged the save Friday against the Orioles, tossing a scoreless ninth inning while allowing one hit and striking out one.
Betances gave up a one-out single, but he managed to retire the final two batters to preserve the victory. He's managed to string together two scoreless outings since blowing a save Sunday against Toronto, and he'll handle mid-to-high-leverage situations down the stretch of the regular season as the Yankees head into the playoffs.

A. Hicks - CF
Hicks went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, two walks and four runs scored Friday in the win over Baltimore.
Hicks launched a two-run home run in the fourth inning to cap off a four-run frame, handing the Yankees a 6-0 lead. Following Friday's performance, he's hit safely in five straight games, going 7-for-19 with four extra-base hits and five RBI over that stretch. Hicks owns a .247/.369/.460 slash line through 131 games in 2018.

D. Gregorius - SS
Gregorius went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored Friday against the Orioles.
Gregorius kicked off the scoring in the first inning with a two-run blast over the fence in right field. He sits with 55 extra-base hits, 86 RBI and 10 stolen bases through 131 games in 2018. He'll continue to serve as a key cog in New York's offense heading into the postseason.
