2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Miller made 25 starts in his first taste of major league experience and pitched to mixed results. The right-hander has some impressive stuff, but the results were mixed as opposing hitters were able to get to Miller. He posted a 4.32 ERA, but his 4.83 xERA does provide some cause for concern.
2024 Outlook: While Miller catches your attention as a young pitcher, his 10.9% barrel-rate against last year gives me some pause. A 17.8-degree average launch angle doesn't help, and after allowing 1.23 home runs per nine innings last year, that could be a problem again this year as his ground ball rate was just 33.5%.
