2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Brown started off the year well, but then ultimately tired and struggled down the stretch. His 4.12 ERA in the first half was a far cry from his 6.57 second half ERA. However, the rookie was impressive with a 10.29 strikeout rate and 52.4% ground ball rate.
2024 Outlook: There was a huge disparity in Brown's 5.09 ERA and 3.52 xFIP and the expectation is that, after a full off-season Brown will be in a strong position heading into this season. The strikeouts will be there and the fact that opposing hitters had just a 6.9-degree average launch angle against Brown last year also helps.
