2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Come to Oakland, and by default, playing time is yours. A Rule 5 pick last year, Noda had 495 plate appearances in his major league debut. Despite a .347 BABIP, Noda still hit just .229 while striking out 34.3% of the time. A 15.6% walk rate does make things look a lot better in OBP leagues.
2024 Outlook: For whatever it's worth, Noda begins the season batting leadoff for the A's. There is no speed and limited production otherwise, but a 13% barrel rate is intriguing. Stick to deep leagues that rely on OBP.
