2023 Recap: Palacios appeared in 91 games for the Pirates last season, slashing .239/.279/.413 with 10 home runs, five stolen bases, and 40 RBI. When he did make contact, the numbers were impressive, mainly his 91.3mph average exit velocity and 45.4 percent hard hit rate. 

2024 Outlook: His willingness to take a walk is nearly nonexistent, and the combination of his propensity to leave the zone with a double-digit swinging strike rate may suggest his strikeout rate could push into the mid-twenties in 2024. The left-handed hitting outfielder struck out 34.5 percent of the time against left-handed pitching last year, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see Pittsburgh deploy him in a platoon, with him playing on the larger side of the platoon. His only fantasy value will come in deeper NL-only formats.
