2023 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Being on multiple teams in each of the last two years hasn’t been easier for Bell, though for the most part, his stat line held up. The switch-hitting first baseman posted a .247/.325/.419 slash line in 150 games and 617 PA with 22 HR, 74 RBI, and 52 R. The drop in average for Bell was likely due to some unlucky bounces as the xBA of .263 is in line with his typical season as was his .287 BABIP.

2024 Outlook: Now that Bell has settled in Miami, at least for 2024, we should see a jump back up for his slash line. It’s hard to say we’ll see a bump in the counting stats given the home park and the offense that’s around him, but perhaps a few more runs will be added to his tally while amassing about the some number of round-trippers.
