2023 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Andrew Benintendi suffered a broken hamate bone in his right hand at the end of the 2022 season with the Yankees. It went on to limit his limited his offseason workouts, and discomfort lingered into last season with the White Sox where it affected his overall offense. In his first year with the White Sox, Benintendi batted .262/.326/.356 with only five home runs, 45 RBIs and an OPS of .682 OPS, the lowest of his career.

2024 Outlook: Even with the sore hand he still played in 151 games, the second most on the team. Reports are that Benintendi had one of his best off seasons and could potentially hit leadoff so expect a bit of a resurgence with his bat in the at the top of the White Sox lineup.
