Adrian Houser allowed one run on two hits over 3 1/3 innings on Sunday in a Cactus League start versus the Athletics.
Houser recorded three strikeouts and also issued a pair of walks. An RBI single by Athletics’ slugger Matt Olson in the third inning represented the lone tally against him in this one. He appears to be fine after making a precautionary exit from his previous spring outing due to a thumb issue last week. The 27-year-old right-hander is coming off an impressive 12-start stretch -- 3.28 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 63/16 K/BB ratio across 57 2/3 innings -- to close out last year and appears to be locked into the Brewers’ Opening Day rotation.
