Ian Cole Headshot

Cole (undisclosed) didn't take part in pre-game rushes Friday and is likely to be scratched, Jonathan Bombulie of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Cole has only three points in 20 games, but contributes in both hits (26) and blocks (35). With Matt Hunwick healthy, Cole will get a day of rest.

Carter Rowney Headshot

Rowney (hand) will return to the lineup Friday against the Bruins.

This is Rowney's first game after missing 14 contests with his injury. He's slated into the center spot on the third line in this tilt.
1:04 pm (EST)
Jalen Ramsey Headshot

Ramsey jammed his hand in Friday's practice and is technically listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. However, Ramsey says he isn't playing Sunday, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.

It's odd to see a player ruling himself out before the team, so keep an eye on Ramsey just in case. The second-year pro has been playing solid football this season, accruing 36 tackles, 14 pass breakups and two interceptions, making him a key part of the Jags' top-ranked defense. If he's in face unable to play, expect Aaron Colvin and Tyler Patmon to see an increased snap count.
1:03 pm (EST)
Vincent Rey Headshot

Rey (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns, Richard Skinner of WKRC-TV reports.

Rey was knocked out of last Sunday's game against the Broncos with the hamstring injury, and there was no report of the linebacker being able to participate in practice this week. Carl Lawson is expected to see additional snaps off the bench in Rey's absence this weekend.
1:01 pm (EST)
Scott Wedgewood Headshot

Wedgewood will be between the pipes at home Friday against the Kings.

Antti Raanta is currently injured, so the Coyotes had no choice but to start Wedgewood. Wedgewood has a 2.93 GAA and a .909 save percentage, which aren't good numbers, but are actually relatively good with how Arizona's netminders have played this season.
12:57 pm (EST)
Case Keenum Headshot

Keenum will start against the Falcons in Week 13, but Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said the team is still re-evaluating its quarterback situation on a weekly basis, Andrew Krammer of The Star Tribune reports.

As much as the Vikings want to see Teddy Bridgewater under center, Keenum is making it impossible for the thriving team to make a change. He's led Minnesota to seven consecutive victories, most recently completing 21 of 30 passes for 282 yards and two scores (with another touchdown on the ground) in Thursday's 30-23 win over the Lions. Keenum may have even earned some leash to work with, whereas it once seemed a single bad outing would be enough to give Bridgewater the job. There is some potential for a step backward the next two weeks when the Vikings travel to Atlanta and Carolina (in that order).
12:57 pm (EST)
Torey Krug Headshot

Krug (upper body) took part in line rushes during pregame warmups, indicating he'll be in the lineup for Friday's game against Pittsburgh, Fluto Shinzawa of The Boston Globe reports.

Krug will hope to pick up where he left off Friday, as he was red-hot before being forced to miss three games due to injury, racking up two goals and seven assists in his last eight contests. He'll return to his role skating on the Bruins' second pairing and top power-play unit against the Penguins.
12:57 pm (EST)
Robert Ayers Headshot

Ayers (concussion) won't play Sunday against the Falcons, Roy Cummings of WFLA NewsChannel 8 reports.

Ayers has 28 tackles (17 solo) and two sacks this season, and he would be helpful in keeping pressure on the league's seventh-ranked pass offense. William Gholston (neck) will be back for Sunday's game, though, which will shore up the edges of the Bucs' defensive front while Darryl Tapp and Ryan Russell play in Ayers' place.
12:57 pm (EST)
Charlie Lindgren Headshot

Lindgren was sent back down to AHL Laval on Friday, John Lu of TSN Montreal reports.

Carey Price is starting Saturday, which means playing time for Lindgren was going to be scarce if he stayed with the big club. Sending him down to the AHL will let him continue to play regularly. Lindgren played admirably in his emergency role, posting a 2.43 GAA and a .924 save percentage in eight games.
12:55 pm (EST)
Eric Ebron Headshot

Ebron secured all four of his targets for 34 yards during Thursday's 30-23 loss to the Vikings.

Ebron finished third on the team in targets, but still isn't proving to be much of a fantasy factor. He's only topped 50 receiving yards in one game this season, which was due to a single 44-yard gain against Pittsburgh in Week 8. Furthermore, he's only found the end zone twice all year and both came against two of the worst defenses against tight ends this season, that being the Giants and Browns. With bye weeks now over and little upside to his name, Ebron belongs on the waiver wire in most formats.
