Nikita Zaitsev Headshot

Zaitsev was placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury Sunday.

The second-year blueliner apparently suffered the injury while blocking a shot in Friday's contest against the Red Wings, as he was forced to leave briefly before completing the game. Not much else is known about the nature of this injury, but Zaitsev will miss at least a week of action before becoming eligible for activation from injured reserve. In a corresponding move, fellow defenseman Martin Marincin was recalled from the AHL.
12:25 pm (EST)
Cristiano Felicio Headshot

Felicio was recalled from the G-League on Sunday, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Felicio has fallen out of Chicago's regular rotation of late, so he made his G-League debut Saturday, posting 22 points (10-14 FG, 2-3 FT), 13 rebounds, three steals and four blocks across 36 minutes. It allowed Felicio to get some much-needed extended playing time, though he'll now return to the Bulls after a one-game stint. Unless an injury occurs, however, Felicio can be avoided for fantasy purposes.
12:25 pm (EST)
MyCole Pruitt Headshot

Pruitt (calf) is listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Pruitt was looking to play his second game of the season, but Stephen Anderson will once again be the sole tight end on Houston's roster. Regardless, Pruitt likely wouldn't have had much of a ceiling against the Jags, who have been the fifth-stingiest against tight ends this season.
12:19 pm (EST)
Paul Perkins Headshot

Perkins (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Eagles.

With just five offensive snaps since Week 5, Perkins is a persona non grata in the Giants offense. Orleans Darkwa, Wayne Gallman and Shane Vereen will continue to man the ground game.
12:18 pm (EST)
Lauri Markkanen Headshot

Markkanen (back) is set to practice Sunday, but will be a game-time decision for Monday's matchup with the 76ers, Vincent Goodwill of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

Markkanen's back is reportedly feeling better, but he'll go through practice Sunday and then be reevaluated to determine how it feels following the increase in activity. Look for Markkanen to test it out once again during Monday's morning shootaround, and potentially pregame warmups, before a final decision is made on his availability. If he can't give it a go, Nikola Mirotic would likely pick up a fourth straight start after averaging 25.0 points and 8.3 rebounds across 32.0 minutes over his last three outings.
12:17 pm (EST)
Cordrea Tankersley Headshot

Tankersley (ankle, shoulder) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Tankersley was actually downgraded to out on Saturday and did not travel with the team to Buffalo. Bobby McCain will start at cornerback in his place, with Alterraun Verner serving as the team's primary nickel corner.
12:17 pm (EST)
Jadeveon Clowney Headshot

Clowney (knee/illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Clowney avoided missing his first game of the season despite not practicing at all in the prior week. He won't have to worry about Jags RB Leonard Fournette (ankle) who is inactive, and he'll look to get after QB Blake Bortles. Clowney was unable to bring down Bortles in their Week 1 matchup.
12:17 pm (EST)
Jordan Phillips Headshot

Phillips (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Phillips was listed as questionable after practicing fully to finish the week, so there was never really much doubt he would play. The 25-year-old should be slated for his usual workload at defensive tackle for the Dolphins on Sunday.
12:15 pm (EST)
Alex Pietrangelo Headshot

Pietrangelo (foot) was activated from injured reserve and will play Sunday in Winnipeg, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Having already established himself as one of the best right-shooting defenseman in the league, Pietrangelo is currently enjoying his most productive season to date. Through 30 games, Pietrangelo has seven goals and 23 points, as well as a plus-14 rating. Expect Pietrangelo to jump right back into his typical role on the Blues' top defensive pairing, as well as skating on the top power-play unit.
12:13 pm (EST)
Stefen Wisniewski Headshot

Wisniewski (ankle) is listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Although he was able to get on the practice field Thursday and Friday, Wisniewski will be replaced by Chance Warmack at left guard Sunday.
