49ers RB Jeff Wilson was carted off the field after suffering a lower leg injury in Week 7 against the Patriots.
A New England defender rolled up on Wilson's ankle as he plunged into the end zone in the third quarter for his third score of the game. Wilson has run wild against a nonexistent Patriots defense, piling up 112 yards on 17 carries. Presumably JaMycal Hasty will take over early down work for the Niners. Jerick McKinnon remains strolling the sideline.

Phillip Lindsay was forced from Denver's Week 7 game against the Chiefs with a concussion and will not return.
Lindsay, who was running hot with 79 yards on nine carries, took a helmet-to-helmet shot from Daniel Sorensen near the end of the first half. He appeared a bit woozy heading off the field and was ruled out after the break. Now a mistake-prone Melvin Gordon must operate as the Broncos' 1A back with Royce Freeman the 1B in comeback mode. This is Lindsay's first documented concussion as a pro. He will be 50-50 to get cleared for next Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling didn't record a single catch on four targets in Green Bay's Week 7 win over the Texans.
Valdes-Scantling, ordinarily the team's deep threat, received a few targets along the sideline but ultimately wasn't needed downfield since Aaron Rodgers simply peppered Davante Adams (13/198/2) throughout play. MVS will remain a volatile WR4/5 against Minnesota in Week 8 given the types of targets he's consistently asked to bring in.

David Njoku caught 2-of-3 targets for 20 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' Week 7 win over the Bengals.
The Browns chose to start Harrison Bryant over Njoku. The former first-rounder recently requested a trade. He's a backup tight end with no fantasy value in the coming weeks.

Breshad Perriman is being evaluated for a concussion.
Perriman took a huge hit from Bills S Micah Hyde on one of the final plays of the game. If Perriman is placed in the concussion protocol, he'll be in a race to get cleared for Week 8.

Andy Dalton completed 9-of-19 passes for 75 yards and an interception in the Cowboys' Week 7 loss to Washington.
Dalton was helped off the field in the third quarter after absorbing a vicious head shot from Washington LB Jon Bostic, who was then ejected. Dalton again had no time to operate in the pocket, as he was sacked thrice and pressured on nearly every drop back. The Dallas offense is a dysfunctional mess and there might not be anything Dalton can do about it. He'll be an iffy QB3 option next week against the Eagles.

H. Bryant - TE
Harrison Bryant caught 4-of-5 targets for 56 yards and two touchdowns in the Browns' Week 7 win over the Bengals.
The Browns chose to start Bryant over David Njoku with Austin Hooper (appendicitis) inactive. Njoku also scored but did so on just three targets. Both players will be involved whenever Hooper is out but Bryant will be the only Cleveland tight end with a fantasy-relevant role. He figures to be a touchdown-dependant TE2 in Week 8 versus the Raiders.

R. Higgins - WR
Rashard Higgins caught 6-of-6 targets for 110 yards in the Browns' Week 7 win over the Bengals.
Higgins caught a 30-yard pass from Baker Mayfield on Cleveland's final drive that ultimately set up the winning score. The Browns lost Odell Beckham in the first quarter and Higgins showed up when it mattered most. He should still be expected to get fewer looks than Jarvis Landry and Cleveland leans toward a run-heavy approach in most games. Higgins is worth stashing but shouldn't be relied on by fantasy managers for weekly fantasy points.
