NFL DFS Optimal Lineups: Mon-Thurs (Week 14/15)
Howard Bender
LaAdrian Waddle Headshot

Waddle (ankle) is officially active for Monday night's game against the Dolphins.

Waddle was listed as questionable after being a limited practice participant this week. The 26-year-old is likely to slot back in at right tackle for the Patriots with Marcus Cannon (ankle) still unavailable.
7:37 pm (EST)
James Reimer Headshot

Reimer will be the road starter Monday against the Red Wings.

This matchup will likely be quite enticing the Wings, and those who have Detroit players on their fantasy teams. Reimer has a 3.81 GAA and a .888 save percentage this season, and he's allowed at least three goals in his last five contests.
7:33 pm (EST)
Stephon Gilmore Headshot

Gilmore (ankle) is officially active for Monday's game against the Dolphins.

Gilmore was a limited participant in practice this week and was listed as questionable, and always seemed likely to play. The Patriots' secondary may have their work cut out for them Monday with Trey Flowers (ribs) and Kyle Van Noy (calf) -- the team's two leaders in sacks -- inactive Monday.
7:31 pm (EST)
Brandon Morrow (R) Headshot

Morrow is seen as the Cubs' would-be closer, barring further offseason additions, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Wittenmyer goes on to say that the Cubs are keeping the door open for an affordable Wade Davis reunion, in which case Morrow would move to a setup role. Even if the Cubs don't add another closer between now and Opening Day, Morrow would be a shaky fantasy option, given his injury history and the presence of Carl Edwards Jr. and Justin Wilson, who are also very capable options for the ninth inning. Morrow notched a 2.06 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 50 strikeouts in 43.2 innings as a setup man with the Dodgers last season.
7:29 pm (EST)
Dante Cunningham Headshot

Cunningham will get the start at power forward for Monday's matchup against the Rockets.

Cunningham will get the start in place of Anthony Davis (left adductor). He had started in Davis' place three of the previous five games, and posted 8.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 0.7 steals, 0.7 blocks. and 1.0 triples across 24.9 minutes during that span. He is likely in line for a similar workload Monday.
7:26 pm (EST)
Anthony Davis Headshot

Davis (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Rockets.

Davis aggravated a left adductor injury during Sunday's matchup with the 76ers and after testing it out during pregame warmups Monday, the team decided it was in his best interest to sit out and avoid any additional strain. Davis' next opportunity to play will be Wednesday against the Bucks, though tentatively consider him questionable for that contest. With Davis out, Dante Cunningham will draw the start at power forward and could be a potential punt-play option for Monday's DFS slate.
7:23 pm (EST)
Ahkello Witherspoon Headshot

Witherspoon suffered an MCL sprain in Sunday's 26-16 victory over the Texans, but he may avoid an time off, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Witherspoon's MRI was "encouragince," according to coach Kyle Shanahan, who also avoided ruling him out for Sunday's game against the Titans. K'Waun Williams would presumably fill in at cornerback should Witherspoon ultimately have to sit out.
7:21 pm (EST)
Trey Flowers Headshot

Flowers (ribs) is officially inactive for Monday night's game against the Dolphins.

Flowers was a limited participant in practice all week and was listed as questionable, but will miss his second consecutive game. The 24-year-old leads the Patriots with six sacks on the season, and the team will have to look beyond the usual suspects for production with leading tackler Kyle Van Noy (calf) also inactive Monday.
7:21 pm (EST)
Gordon Beckham (R) Headshot

Beckham agreed to a minor-league deal with the Mariners on Monday, SB Nation's Chris Cotillo reports.

The former top prospect continues to prolong his pro baseball career, although at this point he is very unlikely to ever regain a significant role on a big-league club. Last year he hit .262/.313/.393 with nine home runs in 83 games with Triple-A Tacoma. He figures to once again serve as organizational infield depth for the Mariners.
7:19 pm (EST)
Quandre Diggs Headshot

Diggs recorded seven tackles, one interception and one forced fumbled during Sunday's 24-21 victory over Tampa Bay.

Making his second consecutive start at strong safety, Diggs -- who's transitioning from nickel corner -- was visibly more comfortable than he was last week. It wasn't a perfect outing, as Diggs was seemingly responsible for allowing a handful of Tampa Bay first downs through the air, but the Lions have to be encouraged by his progress thus far. Next up is a matchup with a Bears team that's averaged the 10th most rushing attempts per game in 2017, which should require Diggs to be particularly active as a tackler.
