Winnipeg Jets at Boston Bruins

Despite the second day after the All-Star, the Jets are on the second night of a back to back and facing a tough Boston team. The Jets had Laurent Brossoit in net last night, which means we will have Connor Hellebuyck in net tonight. He is normally a solid option but will certainly have a tougher test tonight going up against the Bruins and what can be a very dangerous top power-play unit. Going to Hellebuyck on DraftKings seems to be a bit better tonight since he is slightly cheaper and allows a bit of salary flexibility. The Bruins will have Jaroslav Halak in net, who has allowed three or more goals in four of his last five starts, so certainly able to target him tonight with Jets top skaters who are always dangerous.

Spending up on David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, and Torey Krug on the first power-play is always a solid option, but the salary limitations are an issue on a three-game slate. You can take some salary savers such as Jake DeBrusk, David Krejci, and Peter Cehlarik are viable GPP options if you want to find a top stack from another team.

For the Jets, they have plenty of skaters to spend up on, but same with the Bruins top line, the lack of value options on this slate make them difficult to fit into the same lineup. Blake Wheeler, Mark Scheifele, Patrik Laine, and Kyle Connor make up the first power-play, who are in a great spot since Halak has been shaky as of late. This is also a viable game stack if you are looking to be a bit different in tournaments tonight.

Buffalo Sabers at Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets comes in as -173 home favorite tonight, which should make Sergei Bobrovsky the safest option on the slate at goalie. He is facing off against the Sabres, who come in with a 2.60 implied goal total, which is now lowest on the slate. You should certainly be looking to stack the Blue Jackets top power-play unit, since they are so potent, especially at home this season. Despite the trade/extension rumors, Artemi Panarin is still a top option on this slate and comes in averaging over 2.5 shots per game, along with over one point per game this season. Pierre-Luc Dubois and Cam Atkinson are on the top line with Panarin and you should also be looking to stack them up as well. This stack is also just slightly cheaper compared to the two stacks from the first game.

For the Sabres, they are looking to be the clear contrarian route on this slate since they are the largest road underdogs, along with having the lowest implied goal total. You can go to them tonight, as Bobrovsky for Columbus has allowed three or more goals in six of his last seven games. I wouldn’t go past the top line for the Sabres since the options are just too thin tonight. Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart, Jeff Skinner, and Rasmus Ristolainen should be your targets.

Philadelphia Flyers at New York Rangers

This game has an over-under sitting at 6.5 goals, which is the highest of the three games, so we are expecting the most scoring in this one and thus the most fantasy value. The Rangers will be starting their backup goalie Alex Georgiev, who is cheap on FanDuel and in a spot to see plenty of shots since the Rangers are second worst in the league when it comes to Corsi Against. They give up a ton of shots, which gives save upside to the goalies, but also brings a bit of risk since he will be under pressure the whole game. The Flyers are on the second night of a back to back and will also have their backup goalie, Anthony Stolarz, in net tonight. He has allowed 29 goals in nine games this season, which is over three per game, so we should be fine to attack him with the Rangers. Chris Kreider, Kevin Hayes, Mika Zibanejad, and Kevin Shattenkirk make up the first power-play unit which should be very popular tonight and isn’t too expensive. The Flyers aren’t a “good” team by any standard, but they are playing well in their recent games and bring viable offensive options to this game against a weaker Rangers defense. Claude Giroux, James van Riemsdyk, Travis Konecny, Sean Couturier, Jakub Voracek, and Wayne Simmonds should all be firmly in play tonight. Since their salaries are very reasonable across the industry, you can be going to them in a stack or just as filler players to help round out your roster. Going to this game as another game stack is also certainly in play with how bad both defenses can be.
