IHC (World rank: #49) vs. Imperial (World rank: #32) - 6:00 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: IHC (+225) | Imperial (-285)

Map Handicap: IHC +1.5 (-140) | Imperial +1.5 (+115)

  • This is a best-of-three on LAN for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage - Swiss Round Four (teams with a 1-2 record). Losing team is eliminated.
  • IHC - Rating at event: bLitz 1.23 | nin9 0.94 | sk0R 0.90 | Techno 0.89 | kabal 0.85
  • IHC - Rating past three months: sk0R  1.29 | bLitz 1.14 | nin9 1.09 | kabal 1.09 | Techno 1.08
  • Imperial - Rating at event: fer 1.14 | VINI 1.01 | boltz 0.98 | FalleN 0.90 | fnx 0.84
  • Imperial - Rating past three months: fer 1.27 | VINI  1.15 | boltz 1.12 | FalleN 1.11 | fnx 0.99

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction/Narrative: IHC wins 2-1.

This is a tough spot for IHC against a veteran team, but they play solid Counter-Strike and I think they are capable of pulling this upset. IHC swept Renegades on Monday, which means they now have a 17-4 W/L record across 21 maps played with this lineup. The individuals on IHC are in good form as well. Sk0R is typically the aggressive top fragger, but bLitz has also been excellent in more of a lurk role and he is currently the ninth highest-rated player at the tournament, ahead of players such as XANTARES and Jame. Neither of these teams have really proven themselves outside of their own region, and I think they are evenly matched. I’m happy to back IHC as the underdog here because they look like the slightly better team at the moment, and I think Imperial are getting respect in terms of the betting odds due to the notable names on their team. The Brazilians may have some legendary players in their lineup, but they aren’t in their prime, and they are vulnerable in this spot. I like targeting IHC on Draftkings because their pricing seems too cheap.

  • bLitz is currently the ninth highest-rated player at the event with a 1.23 Rating across four maps played. He is the seventh highest-rated player on CT side with a 1.47 Rating across 43 rounds played.

Team Liquid (World rank: #13) vs. Complexity (World rank: #24) - 9:45 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Team Liquid (-320) | Complexity (+250)

Map Handicap: Team Liquid -1.5 (Even) | Complexity +1.5 (-120)

  • This is a best-of-three on LAN for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage - Swiss Round Four (teams with a 1-2 record). Losing team is eliminated.
  • Team Liquid - Rating at event: EliGE 1.04 | oSee 1.02 | NAF 1.00 | shox 0.96 | nitr0 0.82
  • Team Liquid - Rating past three months: EliGE 1.21 | NAF 1.18 | oSee 1.15 | nitr0 0.99 | shox 0.97
  • Complexity - Rating at event: FaNg 1.06 | floppy 0.91 | JT 0.81 | junior 0.71 | Grim 0.65
  • Complexity - Rating past three months: floppy 1.13 | Grim 1.09 | junior 1.05 | FaNg 1.00 | JT 0.95

H2H Data:

  • These rosters faced in April at the IEM Dallas 2022 North America Closed Qualifier and Liquid won 2-0 (16-14 Overpass / 16-9 Ancient).  EliGE led with a 1.38 Rating, while shox led with 49 kills across two maps.

Prediction/Narrative: Liquid wins 2-0.

These lineups faced just a few weeks ago and Liquid looked like the clear better team. I expect that to continue here with the stakes being much higher as this is an elimination match at the Major. Back in March, junior infamously stated that Complexity was the “best NA team” and that they were 50/50 with Liquid, but the oddsmakers seem to disagree and so do I. Complexity just aren’t playing well at the moment. They are second to last in terms of Team Rating at this event with a 0.83 Rating across three maps played. The one team worse than them is Renegades, who were eliminated on Monday with an 0-3 record. Complexity even have a lower Team Rating than 9z, who were also eliminated on Monday with an 0-3 record. It shouldn’t take much from Liquid to get the win here.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):

oSee ($7,600) | EliGE ($9,600) | NAF ($8,800) | shox ($5,400) | nitr0 ($6,800) | junior ($5,800)

ENCE (World rank: #3) vs. Bad News Eagles (World rank: #26) - 1:30 P.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: ENCE (-485) | Bad News Eagles (+360)

Map Handicap: ENCE -1.5 (-130) | Bad News Eagles +1.5 (+110)

  • This is a best-of-three on LAN for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage - Swiss Round Three (teams with a 2-1 record). Winner advances to the Legends Stage.
  • ENCE - Rating at event: Spinx 1.27 | dycha 1.13 | Snappi 0.91 | Maden 0.88 | hades 0.83
  • ENCE - Rating past three months: Spinx  1.17 | dycha 1.10 | hades 1.10 | Maden 1.01 | Snappi 0.97
  • Bad News Eagles - Rating at event: rigoN 1.08 | sinnopsyy 1.07 | juanflatroo 1.03 | -gxx 1.01 | SENER1 0.85
  • Bad News Eagles - Rating past three months: juanflatroo  1.12 | rigoN 1.10 | sinnopsyy 1.10 | -gxx 1.09 | SENER1  1.01

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction/Narrative:  ENCE wins 2-0.

ENCE continue to be one of the hottest teams in the world with a 52-30 W/L record across 82 maps played in the past three months. They weren’t able to earn their spot in the Legends Stage on Monday due to a tough match-up against G2, but they have a prime opportunity here against Bad News Eagles. ENCE are the biggest favorites on the slate, and they are the highest-ranked team in the Challengers Stage. Bad News Eagles have been playing well at this event and actually have a slightly higher Team Rating than ENCE at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, but ENCE have had a much more difficult path to this point facing G2, Outsiders and 9z compared to forZe, Eternal Fire, and Imperial for BNE. Bad News Eagles might be able to hang around against ENCE on some maps, but I’m still expecting a sweep here regardless of the map pool with a spot in the Legends Stage on the line.

  • Spinx is tied as the fifth highest-rated player at the event with a 1.27 Rating across five maps played.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):

hades ($8,000) | Spinx ($10,000) | dycha ($9,200) | Maden ($7,200) | Snappi ($5,800) | gxx- ($4,800)

Eternal Fire (World rank: #30) vs. MiBR (World rank: #25) - 1:30 P.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Eternal Fire (-155) | MiBR (+125)

Map Handicap: Eternal Fire -1.5 (+185) | MiBR +1.5 (-230)

  • This is a best-of-three on LAN for PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Challengers Stage - Swiss Round Four (teams with a 1-2 record). Losing team is eliminated.
  • Eternal Fire - Rating at event: XANTARES 1.22 | woxic 1.15 | xfl0ud  1.15 | Calyx 1.07 | imoRR 0.98
  • Eternal Fire - Rating past three months: XANTARES 1.28 | imoRR 1.13 | woxic 1.11 | Calyx 1.08 | xfl0ud 1.06
  • MiBR - Rating at event: JOTA 1.10 | Tuurtle 1.05 | chelo 0.98 | exit 0.98 | WOOD7 0.82
  • MiBR - Rating past three months: JOTA 1.25 | chelo  1.19 | exit 1.10 | Tuurtle 1.09 | WOOD7 1.01

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction/Narrative: Eternal Fire wins 2-1.

Despite their 1-2 record, Eternal Fire are currently a top-five team at the Challengers Stage with a 1.11 Team Rating across three maps played. Meanwhile, MiBR currently sit in the bottom half of the 16 Challenger Stage teams with a 0.99 Team Rating, though they have played some tough opponents. We’ve seen MiBR dominate their own region but struggle internationally, while Eternal Fire have at least beaten some solid international rosters. Eternal Fire have been in great form in the past three months with a 32-16 W/L record across 48 maps played. The Turkish team has taken their game to another level ever since woxic took over as IGL. I see this is as a close series, especially considering the map pool looks pretty even, but I do give an edge to Eternal Fire based on recent form.

  • Calyx is currently the highest rated T side player at the event with a 1.30 Rating across 30 rounds played. XANTARES is the tenth highest rated player overall with a 1.22 Rating across three maps played.

Favorite Draftkings Plays (In order of priority):

Calyx ($6,200) | XANTARES ($9,000) | woxic ($7,200) | imoRR ($8,200) | JOTA ($8,400) | WOOD7 ($5,000)
