Become a Factor: Playing Single-Entry in Week 12

Thanksgiving is behind us and the fun of playing squares on Fantasy Factor was great. The food was great.  The football was interesting, and family was, well, family.  The Saints, Cowboys and Bears all exerted their will on the opponents.  There were some surprise performances, but mostly for players who did not show up as expected.

The process here at FantasyAlarm.com always works and one the people who is writing me each week to get tips is succeeding on Fantasy Factor.  Use the Playbook, Coaches and dozens of deep analytical editorials from our team to identify a set of players to consider.  Then use our tools to research those who would have the most success and create lineups based on value with the site you are playing on.

Simple enough.

Let’s show how it would work on Fantasy Factor this week. Fantasy Factor is only SINGLE-ENTRY tournaments  so we make our best lineup and put it in all of them.

We start with the DFS Coaches to find best and most consistent plays at each position.

Went to the Points Allowed By Position page to both see all the Vegas odds and understand what teams have the best matchups for each position.

Then, I use our Lineup Generator to complete the process.  This custom tool pulls in 33 metrics plus the editors’ views on players to give you winning lineups for Fantasy Factor.

Here are some good bargains uncovered from using the this simple less than 15-min process.

Jarvis Landry CLE ($4100)

The Cincinnati Bengals give up a whopping 39 Fantasy Factor points a week to opposing wide receivers.  Landry is the possession receiver in this offense and should be counted on to do some damage.  He only had 7 targets and 5 targets in the last two games, but expect him back to double digits against the porous defense.  The match-up is right and so is the price.  Bless 'Em.

Doug Baldwin SEA ($3800)

The Seahawks go to Carolina this week and making the cross country trek is never easy to play a 1pm ET game.  Baldwin however is WAY undervalued here and a dependable target for Russell Wilson .  Pete Carroll has gone to an all rushing attack, but on third downs, Baldwin is the guy who gets creative when Russell scrambles to make big plays happen.  You need to be 100% sure that he plays after not practicing all week. If Baldwin cannot go, you should replace him with Golden Tate who is just $200 more and should torch the New York football Giants.

T.Y. Hilton IND ($5000)

Hilton is taking advantage of his great moves, hands and some blown coverages in the last couple of weeks.  He averages 16.6 Fantasy Factor points a week.  Last week he blew up for 36.9 points and is one of the more consistent performers when healthy. They get the dumpster fire that is in the Miami Dolphins this week and Hilton should show up big.

George Kittle SF ($4500)

Initially, I had the super cheap Rob Gronkowski in this spot but with all the injuries and now increased weapons for the Patriots and Tom Brady , I will stick with Kittle.  His team plays the Buccaneers who give up the second Fantasy Factor points to tight ends.  Kittle is SUPER consistent.  He averages 14.8 points at tight end where no more than 4-5 players a week score more than 15 points.  This means that he is top 5 in just about every week and has a tasty matchup.

So, locked these four into the lineup and abracadabra, winner!  The Lineup Generator gave us three patriots in Tom Brady, James White and the Patriots DST.   PPR darling Duke Johnson and uber talent Saquon Barkley round out the lineup.  BOOM.

Let’s go.

Thanks for playing and BE A FACTOR this year!
