Become a Factor: Playing Single-Entry in Week 10

This week, I had great success using the process here at FantasyAlarm.com.  Use the Playbook, Coaches and dozens of dep analytical pieces from our team to identify a set of players to consider.  Then use our tools to research those who would have the most success and create lineups based on value with the site you are playing on.

After dabbling in multi-entry, I am 100% sure that I like the SINGLE-ENTRY tournaments  at Fantasy Factor and other sites.  Hearing that there will be Thanksgiving SQUARES games too which makes it fun for the whole family

Let’s make a lineup for Week 10.

Like last week,  I started with the DFS Coaches to find best and most consistent plays at each position and this week is no different.  David Johnson tops the list for value and consistency this week.

Went to the Points Allowed By Position page to both see all the Vegas odds and understand what teams have the best matchups for each position.  There are six games on the slate with more than 50 on the Under/Over.  There are three teams with more than 30 implied points in Rams (31), Chargers (30) and Chiefs (33) with the Saints close at 29.  We will target players with those teams.

Then, I use our Lineup Generator to complete the process.  This custom tool pulls in 33 metrics plus the editors’ views on players to give you winning lineups for Fantasy Factor.

Here are some good bargains uncovered from using the this simple less than 15-min process.

Andy Dalton CIN ($5700)

A.J. Green will not be in the Bengals lineup for at least a couple of weeks.  Tyler Boyd will need to carry the water, but this week versus that Saints defense in a high scoring affair at home, Dalton should be throwing the ball a lot.  Look for him to have a big game and with that price tag, he could easily return 4X.

David Johnson ARZ ($4900)

Johnson is coming off a BYE week with promises from the coaching staff that he would be used more, it seems a sure thing to have David Johnson in your lineup.  He has a consistent floor of points not having a game with less than 10 Factor points in the last 5 games.  He is projected for 17.4 points and if he delivers that, he will be more than 3X his salary as a value play.

Leonard Fournette JAX ($3500)

At minimum value, Fournette’s return versus the colts could amount to some real value.  He has barely played this year, so we need to be careful to not have too much exposure to him, but the potential for him to return 5X or more value against the tiny salary makes him a great tournament play.

Keenan Allen LAC ($7000)

Every player that we highlight should not be a super value at the minimum amount.  You are trying to get the most points and not the least salary.  The Raiders are one of the worst teams in football and should be vulnerable to a Chargers’ passing attack.  Allen has only had less than 60 yards receiving in one game this season and is coming off a 10 target, 124 receiving performance with an additional 28 rushing yards.  He needs to get into the end zone this week to pay max value, but his floor versus Oakland is VERY high.

OK.  Let’s make a lineup.  Locked these four into the lineup plus Tyler Boyd to pair with Andy Dalton and BOOM.  The Lineup Generator gave us the Bengals’ tight end plus super stars Ezekiel Elliot and Kareem Hunt .  Then the Jets Defense who faces the bears.  Let’s go.
